Evergreen Escape - 4 bedroom, loft, 2.5 bath home, quiet neighborhood

Evergreen Escape is warm and welcoming. This cabin has 4 roomy bedrooms, loft, 2.5 bathrooms and is equipped with everything you'll need for a comfortable stay in Tahoe. The spacious living room allows everyone to have a comfortable seat and the open kitchen area is nice to prepare meals. Televisions are smart TV's so you can stream movies. The kitchen is very well appointed with dishes, utensils, pots & pans, dishwasher, disposal, gas stove/oven, refrigerator, coffee maker & grinder, etc. The dining room table seats 8 people comfortably and there are 4 bar stools at the countertop. The main source of heat is the furnace with forced air throughout the home. This operates via thermostat. There is also woodstove to heat the house during those cold winter nights which also provides a cozy atmosphere and ambiance! Two of the bedrooms are downstairs along with one and a half bathrooms (one en-suite); upstairs boasts 2 more bedrooms, plus loft area, and another full bathroom in the hall with a tub/shower.

Bed arrangements are: 1) king downstairs (en-suite) with television, full bath with tub/shower; 2)Queen downstairs with couch and television; 3) Queen plus Double bed, upstairs; 4) King plus daybed, upstairs. The upstairs loft is spacious and has 2 chairs to relax in.

Other amenities include: washer/dryer, central forced air heat, deck has patio furniture, chairs and picnic table with umbrella, there's also a gas BBQ for tenants use (summer months only-these are put away from mid-October until Spring).

The garage, unfortunately, is for the owner's use only.

This home does not allow any parties or events as this home is in a residential neighborhood, and quiet time is from 9pm-8am. Thanks for your cooperation!

Cleaning fee includes linens and towels. You may want to bring beach towels, as those are not provided.

Great layout and neighborhood

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our three families have been doing a ski weekend in Tahoe for many years and we felt like this house was one of the best we've stayed at. The layout and kitchen were perfect for our needs and the neighborhood was quiet and so close to the Rubicon trailhead! Julie was fantastic and worked well with us when the weather had other ideas for our plans. Overall great experience!

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The original listing had been posted as having a hot tub. There had to have been an issue with either VRBO or the original post, because we specifically were filtering for hot tubs and found the property this way. Overall, the property management company posts to VRBO only as advertisement and VRBO charges a huge additional fee. As a result, there is no customer service or recourse through VRBO. The third party agent was a kind lady who was trying her best, but clearly the overall system is set up horribly. Property is very dated, little in the way of amenities, poor noise isolation, no provided toiletries, and number of beds is lower than advertised. The VRBO listing overall just has inconsistencies with the real listing as well and the system is poorly implemented. There was also a shooting around 5 minutes from the property during our stay, so safety is suspect as well.

It's unfortunate you misread the property details for this home. There is no hot tub and it was never advertised as having one. We discussed this when you called. We do start you off with toilet paper and paper towels, and also ask you to bring paper products for your entire stay, as we just start you off with these items. You must have missed the paragraph explaining this in your check-in instructions. The photos represent the home as it is and it also represents the correct bed arrangements. All I can think of is you must have mixed this home up with another home you saw on VRBO. The last group who stayed here gave us a 5 star review.
