Amazing house with plenty of room for a crowd. Beautiful inside and out with a great water view and outside lounge spaces. Easy check in and great communication. Would stay here again!
Thia house was perfect for us! Space for us together and for quiet! Hot tub was a treat!Property manager was fantastic and even had a christmas tree put up for us!
We had a wonderful stay in Gallatin! The home and property are beautiful. The home is large enough that each family had their own space while the living areas are cozy and inviting. The kids loved playing in the backyard and the adults enjoyed the sunsets from the deck. We would definitely stay here again!
Property sits on a quiet cove right off the main body of water. House is beautifully decorated and well maintained. Layout of the house provided great separation of young adults and parents. Absolutely would go back!
We enjoyed our stay at this convenient location for our nephew’s wedding. The outdoor space was perfectly furnished, scenic, and large enough for all of us to enjoy. House has very pleasant decor with a large kitchen and two dining tables for our family meals. We gathered with our children and grandchildren from 3 different states and it’s important for us to be comfortable. So glad we found this house!
The house was amazing. There was a lot of room for people to spread out and have space yet still had central areas to naturally gather. We spent a lot of time in the upstairs screened in porch overlooking the lake. There is a marina bar in the neighborhood with live music and a mountain bike trail network right around the corner as well. Easy ride into Nasheville or the Grand Ole Opry but with many parks, food options and a grocery store near by we never got bored of being at this home in Gallatin. The hot tub and fire pit were really nice touches. We have family in the area and I would rent this place again in a heartbeat if we once again had the right sized group. The house was clean. The host was very good about promptly answering a few questions we had during our stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this home in Gallatin to friends, family or anyone looking for a great relaxing home base with great prominent to all that the greater Nasheville area has to offer.

Wedding weekend
House itself was great. Location was great. We had lots of fun. I expected there to be some bugs in the house since it was by the lake but there were lots of spiders and other creepy crawleies.
I Message Ashley on several different occasions and she never responded. Also messaged her about something super sentimental that I had left on accident and never got a response.
Communication is key

Katelyn, thank you for the review — we greatly value this kind of feedback. Regarding the bugs, yes this is a cabin-style lake house and completely avoiding bugs is nearly impossible, but can certainly do better than this! This is a very nice home treated regularly with professional pest control. This is our first bug complaint and had we known about it during the stay, we would have absolutely offered to send someone from our staff to help resolve the issue.
Regarding communication, we reviewed this stay and our average response time was less than 3 minutes during business hours. For future guests, please know we offer several means of communication including this platform, email, and an emergency 24/7 phone number.
Finally for the sentimental item, we are so sorry about this. This was a handwritten note left on a table. The guest only informed us it was missing 9 days after their stay. In the past we have literally gone through dumpsters to recover things like this, but 9 days after checkout is simply too late for us to help.
We strive to deliver hospitable stays where your party can create lasting memories — We’re terribly sorry this stay wasn’t perfect for you. For future guests, please know in over 2,000 stays, this is our first ever 3-star review (and we have a 4.99 average across all platforms). We will promptly act on this feedback.
We decided to try a new lake this year for our annual family lake week, and this property checked all of the boxes for our group of 11. The house was clean & well-appointed, and Ashley was very responsive with info & answers to questions. We were pleased with the amount of parking - we had 4 vehicles boat & jet ski trailers, and there was room for all. There is also a lot of storage in the kitchen, which is critical when you're feeding teenagers! The location is hard to beat, especially for boaters. Gallatin Marina is only 300 yards away and there are nice inlets nearby including one with a slalom course. Though we understand it's not always available, we were able to keep our boat in one side of the dock and use the lift, which was a nice bonus. If you bring a boat the launch at Dock 4 Ramp is public/free and just a few minutes away. A navigation app with current maps is also a good idea on this lake, as there are lots of shallow areas & submerged timber - good for fishing, bad for props! We really enjoyed the wildlife around the property - deer were regular visitors (including a doe with twin fawns), as well as turkeys & geese. There is also a nice selection of water toys available to play with if you don't bring your own, and the kids caught quite a few fish off the dock.We had a great week, and if we return to Old Hickory Lake we'll definitely stay here again!
Overall the house was great. It was a little more outdated than what is seen in the pictures, but we still enjoyed our stay. The dock and lake were great. We were expecting to have acess to both slips in the dock, but there was a wave runner parked in one when we arrived. We made do with one. There is ample space for families to be together and seperate areas when quiet is needed. The house could use a little maintenance, but nothing terrible. We enjoyed our stay.
