Great location for skiing and town!

We had a great stay- plenty of room for our family of four and a great location within walking distance to town and just a few minutes drive to the ski slopes. Host communicated quickly and helped resolve an issue on check-in so quickly it didn’t effect our trip at all (lock wasn’t opening for us). A nice kitchen and living space let us prepare our own breakfasts and enjoy a movie by the fire after a long day of skiing.

Annual Friendsgiving

My four friends and I always come out to Ellicottville in December to celebrate Christmas, a friend’s birthday and to do a full Friendsgiving event with each other. Each year we try and find a new location and we stumbled upon this place. It was beautiful just as it was listed. It was convenient as well. We had a great time and will definitely look to book.again.

Family Ski Vacation

I had a nice stay at the apartment with my family of 4. The location was very close to town and Holiday Valley. The space suited our needs well. My only complaint is the noise from the unit beside/below. 2 different groups stayed during our visit and we could easily hear them talking, music, closing doors closing, thumping up and down the stairs. Reasonable noise transfers right through the floor and walls as if we were in their space. It kept my daughters up at night.

Great stay in Ellicotville Apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at the Après Way condo. The unit was on the second floor of a house in a quiet neighbourhood. It was an easy 15 minute walk from downtown. The kitchen was nice and well-equipped. We really enjoyed the fire table out on the balcony. The beds and lounge area were comfortable. The only slight downside is that the walls were thin and you could hear noises from the other unit. I would definitely stay again.

Pretty good!

This unit is very clean, a two minute drive to town and five minutes from the ski slopes which is great. There is a nice view of the ski slopes from back room which we enjoyed. The shower is great and we never ran out of hot water. There were plenty of towels and wash cloths. The living room recliner was wonderful.However, there is no sound proofing at all and you can hear the conversations of the other tenants (or, in our case, toddlers screaming and playing "hide-seek"). The construction feels less than solid and the garage door, washing machine and dryer shake the whole unit.There was no communication from the owner in response to a question. I don't usually care about pillows, but these are hospital style pillows probably placed by a management or cleaning company and I woke up with a horribly stuff neck and headache the first day before we ended up throwing the decorative pillows (they had removable covers) under our actual pillows. I don't know if the owner is new to renting, but there were some basics that were missing. There are a lack of extra blankets except for a couple small fleece throw blankets. Finally, two of our party got sick and clogged the toilet only to discover there is no plunger. (Probably not a huge issue for most people, but definitely falls under the "help me help you" category of items that you really need in a pinch.In the end, it was a fine place to stay that worked out well. I would probably not seek it out to stay again.

We want to clarify that the only message we received from you during your stay was regarding the plunger, to which we responded within 10 minutes. Shortly after, you let us know the plunger was no longer needed. For future reference, we do have a plunger available in the washer and dryer closet for guests' convenience. We’re sorry to hear about the noise from the neighboring house. If we had been made aware of the issue, we would have addressed it right away to help reduce the disturbance. Regarding the blankets, both bedrooms closets have extra-large throw blankets, and the living room closet contains two large blankets, along with two extra ones stored in the living room ottoman. Thanks again for your stay, and we’ll take your comments into consideration as we continue to improve the guest experience!
