Easthaven is the rare getaway where the house is part of the fun: a game-themed waterfront retreat built for families and friends to unplug, reconnect, and actually enjoy being together. Wake to wide-open water on Nomini Bay, pour some coffee, and decide whether the day starts with a kayak, a fishing line off the dock, or one more round of games inside. By evening, grill dinner, watch the sky change over the water and try out the telescope, then gather around the smokeless fire pit or fireplace.



ABOUT THIS SPACE



This is not a waterfront house with a few games tucked in a closet. The entire stay is designed around two things guests keep raving about: time on the water and time together.



• Living + game spaces: Gather for board games, puzzles, foosball, ping pong, giant games, or a movie by the wood-burning fireplace. Large windows keep the water in view, so rainy days still feel like vacation.

• Kitchen + dining: Cook real meals in a well stocked kitchen with the tools, cookware, dishes, coffee setup, beverage fridge, popcorn maker, grill gear, and dining space your group needs. We strive to provide everything you need.

• Chess Suite: King bed, private ensuite bath, lounge space, TV, storage, charging stations, and ceiling fan.

• Clue Room: Queen bed with its own playful mystery theme, TV, storage, charging, and ceiling fan.

• Monopoly Room: Queen bed, TV, storage, charging, and ceiling fan.

• Twister Room: Queen bed plus twin bunk, dedicated workspace, TV, storage, charging, and ceiling fan.

• Bathrooms: Three full baths, including the Chess ensuite, a tub/shower bath, and a zero-entry shower. Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, towels, and essentials are provided.

• Sunrooms: Use one for having a slow coffee and water watching; use the other for puzzles, extra dining, or work.

• Outdoor living: Step outside to the private yard, outdoor dining area, gas grill, hammock, loungers, smokeless fire pit, and a 100+ ft private dock.

• Water gear included: 3 kayaks, canoe, stand-up paddleboard, paddle boat, life jackets, crab pots, and space to bring your own boat.



The setting is peaceful and quiet, but you will not run out of things to do. Fish, crab, swim, paddle, grill, play, read, stargaze, or do absolutely nothing. Cell service can be inconsistent in the Northern Neck, so we provide fast 1-Gig Wi‑Fi and a dedicated workspace. The water is natural and tidal, and there are stairs plus a hill between the house and dock.

We had an amazing time with our kids, granddaughter and the pups. Our family vacation was, by far, the best we've had in years. Easthaven is a beautiful home in a beautiful location. Our hosts made sure every single detail was perfect. The game-themed home is so creative and fun, and we had a blast! We appreciated every little touch. Our family vacations have traditionally been in the OBX, but we chose something different this year, and it was THE BEST. All of my childhood summers were spent at our family river house on the Rappahannock, so this trip was especially wonderful for me. It was truly a reset for us, and I'm so grateful. We had an amazing stay at this waterfront house and the views were spectacular. It was a nice quiet getaway from the city. The host provided everything and then some from easy checkin, snacks, and there were so many games we had a blast competing in. The water toys were great to use around the water and they even provided guest towels. It was evident they really spent time making sure guests were comfortable. We had a nice visit to Westmoreland State Park with the pass included and the host responded quickly. We would definitely start there again.

A Winning Beds-and-Boats Stay With Waterfront Access and View — Plus an MCM Vibe

Clean, quiet, comfortable, and spacious. Electric vehicle charging, welcome snacks, extensive cookware, telescope, and games galore are just some of the many amenities we found at this meticulously maintained rancher with a beautiful Nomini view. Free access passes to local park and beach were a generous addition. Safe, quiet neighborhood for walks and stargazing, away from city lights. Superb communication, spectacular written materials, careful signage, and great attention to decor and detail by these hosts added to a wonderful reservation-to-review experience for us. Highly recommended!

What a Wonderful Vacation Home

Easthaven is such a fun, family place to stay while on vacation. Clean, well equipped, relaxing and family oriented. We enjoyed kayaking, paddle-boarding, fishing, crabbing, visiting West Moreland State Park and the quant surroundings. The house has everthing needed for family fun and special time together.The dophins in the bay at sunrise and the scavenger hunt were nice, fun family surprises!

Even better than the pictures

The house was great, really liked how there were towels, beds made, shampoo, conditioner and body wash ready to go. The house had a great layout and really enjoyed the outdoor table and chairs, hammock and swings. Plenty of things to do but ended up relaxing and taking in the beautiful view most of the time. We can’t wait to visit again.

Comfy, relaxing, beautiful, relaxing vacation home. We went to unwind and the facilities and owners were a delight. Kitchen was super well stocked with everything needed to handle meals for 11 people. Popcorn was a smash. The front door unlocked with our code and we were all ready to expand and kick off 9 days together.

Mother's Day Week-end

Easthaven has it all!!

Easthaven offers A+ communication from Abbie and a beautiful place to stay. The themed bedrooms are adorable, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need, and the view is stunning. It’s also so quiet and relaxing - just what we needed. We could only stay for a short visit but we will be back in warmer weather for the water activities and to explore the area more. What a gem of a place!

Beautiful view and home

This home is lovely, beautiful views, well appointed and clean. Perfect for gals trip or families, many games provided and a fun scavenger hunt too. There are many steps down to the water, not easy if you have mobility issues but you can enjoy the view from indoors or outside in the yard. We are already working on a return trip. Enjoy!

The perfect getaway!

The game themed decor was on point! Everything there for your enjoyment! Perfect for both children and adults!! The view is outstanding! Very peaceful and relaxing!! Would highly recommend!! The house is very spacious and very well stocked for your needs!! It is definitely a place you would rebook!

The Perfect Weekend Getaway!

My husband, two daughters, and I recently spent a weekend at Easthaven, and we had the best time! From the clever game room theme to the awesome amenities to the spectacular views, this was the perfect Northern Neck getaway. We also loved that the property felt quiet and peaceful in spite of being an easy drive to dining, shopping, and fun local destinations. We would 100% stay here again, and we're recommending Easthaven to all of our friends. Go ahead and book this place - you won't regret it!

Holiday getaway

We came for R & R and we got it! Abbie was a great and responsive hostess and the house was perfect. Even though the weather was cold the views were still great, the layout was perfect and the furniture, especially the beds, was so comfortable. Getting groceries from the Food Lion was easy too. We're not big on water sports so unlikely we would come back in the summer, but maybe another visit in the spring or fall. Highly recommend!

This house had been a dream of ours for a long time. We are from the DC area, have two young kids, a menagerie of animals and wanted a place within an easy drive of DC on the water where we, and our family & friends, can come to get out of the hustle. The second we drove into Montross, we instantly fell in love with it. It's oozing with charm, super friendly people and really fun things to do! We think the Northern Neck is the best kept secret in the area. We’ve done a lot of work to try to make it the best experience possible for you and yours and strive to think of everything, so you don’t have to. Please reach out to us if you need anything at all and we hope you have a wonderful stay!

THE VIEWS! We were immediately sold on the house as soon as we looked outside. Easthaven also has anything and everything you could need to provide a wonderful vacation. For those looking for a greener option we have also just installed solar. WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR • Families with school-age kids or teens who want more than a place to sleep: water adventures outside, games inside, and plenty to do without building an itinerary. • Multigenerational groups who want shared gathering spaces plus separate bedrooms and three baths. • Friends planning a relaxed reunion, birthday, girls’ weekend, or couples getaway. • Remote workers who want a dedicated workspace, 1-Gig Wi‑Fi, and a water view after the laptop closes. • Dog owners who want to bring up to two dogs instead of leaving part of the family behind.
