Welcome to Jasmine Joy, a 4BR/3.5BA beach home nestled amongst the quiet neighborhoods of the St. George Plantation!
On the 1st floor of this comfortable home is the first of two King master suites with ensuite bathroom w/ shower and access to a furnished, screened-in porch. A second King bedroom also opens onto the furnished, screened-in porch and shares a full bathroom with a combination tub/shower with the third bedroom (2 twin beds) on this floor. The laundry room with full size washer/dryer is located just down the hall.
The 2nd King master suite can be found on the top floor. The private ensuite bathroom boasts a large, jetted bathtub, separate shower and double vanity. Each bedroom has a TV with multiple DVD players available. Just past this bedroom you’ll find yourself stepping into a craftsman-style living space with heart pine floors, warm, pine tray ceiling and decorative beams. The living/dining rooms open onto a large, furnished screened-in porch with Gulf peek-a-views. Earthy hues and natural elements make this space cozy and inviting.
The well-stocked kitchen offers plenty of space for multiple chefs with an abundant amount of counterspace and large, center Island. A convenient half bath can be found just across the hall.
Outside amenities include a hot & cold enclosed outdoor shower, gas grill, fish cleaning station, under-house concrete parking with covered entry and a large, private swimming pool. The swimming pool is enveloped in a screened-in enclosure and has an extra spacious pool deck with plenty of room to play or sun-bathe! Additional shade for play can be found in the carport, for those extra sunny days.
A convenient nature path can be found just steps from the home and leads to the community beach boardwalk or walk along the residential street to the boardwalk, both a short 3-4 minute walk from the property,
As guests staying inside the St. George Plantation community, you can enjoy miles of bike paths, walking trails, access to fishing at Bob Sike’s Cut and being minutes from the serene Gulf beach. Amenities include the Plantation Clubhouse with Olympic-style community pool, fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts. A second community pool is available at Resort Village.

Fantastic Location! Needs to be Cleaned and Sealed Up Better

First of all, we loved the house. There were 8 of us there (6 adult, two kids), and the layout/rooms fit us perfectly.We loved the quick access to the beach, and of course enjoyed having our own screened pool. All of these things would bring us back again and again.I do need to mention, however, three things that were 'downers' for us:1. We had to work with the property management folks to trap/kill a rat that got into the kitchen during the second night and ate up some bread that had been left on the counter (properly wrapped, of course). To be safe, we kept all of our groceries in the refrigerator, or in a storage bin, or in the microwave to ensure we didn't have a repeat of this. John (the very nice guy that came to help us!) showed me the place under the sink where it was likely coming in... and mentioned that it needed sealing.2. The nice thing about the kitchen is that there is a PLETHORA of cooking pots/pans for your use. The not-so-nice thing is that some of the guests before us stored away some UNCLEANED pans. Because of this, we had to work hard to make sure that everything was double-scrubbed and scalded before we used them to cook anything. We left everything cleaner than when we found it... not all guests do.3. Finally, we dared not use the gas grill outside, because it was just plain nasty. Again, guests before us did not heed the request to properly clean the grill after use. So we did not get to grill our burgers during burger night... oh well.Here's the thing... why didn't the people who 'cleaned' the unit before we arrived notice any of this? It was all there to see, if they had taken the time to notice.Because of this, a less-than-perfect stay. Therefore, I can't give it 5 stars, and I can't immediately recommend it to a friend. But if these things were corrected properly, we would stay there again AND recommend it to others.

We also appreciate the heads up on the grill and kitchen items. We do our best to prepare the property in every way between guests and regrettably, we aren't able to see/touch everything.
