Why they chose this property
This property is nestled within the Linn County Covered Bridge Tour. The property has river frontage along the Roaring River. This is a quiet getaway, a place to disconnect from everyday life. Sit by the river and read or play games. Perfect for a writers retreat. Within walking distance to the Roaring River Fish Hatchery. Drive the Covered Bridge Tour. The City of Scio is about 10 miles from here and has several eateries and a small grocery store. It also boasts a Seed and Feed store and Hardware store that are a fun visit. Mallard Creek Golf Course and McDowell Creek Falls are not far away.
As in any rural forested setting there are wild animals. I have personally only seen, Beaver, Mink, Deer and Turkey. But Bear and Cougar have been know to be in the area. So, that being said understand that you are in a country setting.
