Attention Fishermen! It is only a 5 minute walk to some great pool and riffles on the Elk River. This stretch is popular among Cutthroat Trout Fishermen. The view of the ski mountain is clear enough that one can see the ski lifts and the Lost Boys Cafe from the back porch. The main bicycle trail runs right by the Stanford Inn on its way into Fernie. It can easily be accessed from the townhouse by bicycle after an easy 5 minute ride. This trail is smooth and on a gentle gradient that is great for seniors, children or others seeking a scenic, low intensity ride that follows the Elk river northward into town.
