Beautiful View on the beach

The condo was really big, it had the full balcony on the corner or the building which is really nice. 2.5 bathrooms and very spacious 3 bedrooms. We loved staying here and would stay here again.

Nice week at the beach

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The only thing I was disappointed about. Was there was no entertainment down at the bar for the week we was there.

We enjoyed Water’s Edge itself. The resort had plenty of amenities, the common areas were clean, and the parking garage was a major convenience in Garden City. The condo’s double balcony and view were also excellent.The unit has received some updates, but several cleaning and maintenance issues affected our stay. The guest bathroom shower curtain had extensive visible mold and mildew. We bought bleach spray to clean it, but mold remained, as shown in the attached photos. The master shower also had visible mold and a large clump of hair in one corner. Several doors had fingerprints, and there was noticeable dust around the many decorative items. The sheets were clean, although the blankets were quite worn.The balcony lounge chair and one rocking chair were broken and unusable. Previous guests had already documented the broken chairs in the guest book. The kitchen was generally well stocked but had no baking pans, sponge, or dish soap. The stove and dishwasher were also very wobbly and did not appear properly secured.The condo has several strong features, but it needs a thorough deep cleaning and maintenance review. Addressing these issues would make a significant difference.

Disappointed!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this unit before with no major issues. That changed this year. Issues started day 1. The kitchen sink was held up by wooden stakes, leaked and the faucet was unstable. Went to the office right away and was told they knew of the issue and were waiting for a quote for the owner but that the sink was usable. So they were aware of the issue but never notified us. Problems continued on day 2 with ice maker not working, a fan in one bedroom screeching ( maintenance tried to fix, but it’s old and can’t be fixed)a knob on a bathroom sink very loose and a broken porch chair. Day 3, contractor for sink quote arrived early and was given access while a 20 yr old female guest was alone and asleep, expecting contractor 1 1/2 hrs later. (I had received a text from the office that I didn’t see until later, but at a vacation resort, obviously not carrying my phone all day at the beach)Went to the office again, desk clerk said he would pass it along. Finally texted with the manager, stressed my frustration again and asked for a discount. Was told she’d have to talk to the owner(last I heard about that). Day 4-air conditioning not working. Maintenance came and got it to run, said it should be cool in a few hrs (was 82degrees in unit)4+ hours later, was again not cooling. An HVAC company was called in and we were told that they need to replace the unit. Manager contacted me to say that they couldn’t move us until the next day, but they wouldn’t charge us for that night since air wasn’t functional. Manager also said she could refund the rest of our stay if we wanted to go somewhere else. Where would 6 people go with no notice? So the 6people in our unit slept in the heat then packed all of our belongings to move to another unit. Customer service from start to finish with the office staff/manager was ridiculously poor. I felt like our issues were an inconvenience and that no one really cared if we were satisfied or not. I
