We had a wonderful stay, great communications with the host, property is in a perfect location for enjoying the beach and downtown area, schedule with confidence!
We really loved our stay! It was perfect for our family of 4. It’s such a convenient location and our host was very hospitable and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back for another visit.
Perfect location, comfortable and well stocked apartment. More spacious than we were expecting. Loved being right next to storm cloud brewery and a short walk to the beach!
Couldn’t have been happier with this loft apartment in downtown Frankfort! Janet, the host was super friendly and did a great job keeping us informed as needed. Clean, cute apartment with comfortable beds. Shops, restaurants and beach located right outside apartment or within short walking distance. With as lively as Frankfort gets during the day, we appreciated how quiet it was during the night. Would definitely stay again!
We had a wonderful time staying at this property. We enjoyed the location, the apartment and the atmosphere. our only complaint was the drain on the tub did not work, so we were unable to use the bathtub.
The owners were wonderful and the location was perfect!! Stormcloud Brewery was a welcome neighbor !! Walking downtown was great fun and the terrific restaurants and beach made for a perfect trip!! The apartment was beautifully decorated with a funky retro vibe!! Can’t wait to return!!!
My family and I had such a wonderful 3 night stay in this unit in downtown Frankfort. Janet was an incredible host and so welcoming. Everything inside the unit was updated and modern. We are already looking forward to our next stay.
Right in the heart of Frankfort, easy walk to everything including the beach. Suggestions for improvement: could use a box or two of tissues, have a keurig for a quick cup of coffee in the morning (there was a coffee pot but no coffee), install a screen in the bedroom window overlooking the street so that the window can be open for that lake breeze (when I opened the window, the sill was dirty and there were cobwebs hanging outside, so keeping it open wasn’t an option). Had to request a hair dryer the first morning, but it was delivered promptly). Felt it was a little overpriced
We had a lovely visit with a great stay at this Vrbo! It was exactly as described and located right downtown. The front bedroom had a plush bed and the back had a firm bed. We didn't make much in the kitchen but appreciated the dishes and cups! Couch was comfy and we were able to log into our streaming for evening relaxing with ice cream!
We are new to the area so tried some downtown spots including Vita Bella Italian - great pizza and salads! Had a delicious cafe miel from Bella Cafe. More great pizza and salad from Stormcloud brewing. And many donuts from Crescent bakery. The fancy waffle cones from The Scoop were fun too!
Easy drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes (did not go down the incline) and over to Old Mission Peninsula. The Cherry Hut in Beulah was a great lunch spot during our travels around!
We vacation in Frankfort every summer and have family who stay on Crystal Lake. We were very impressed with the apartment. Some observations not apparent in the listing itself: very spacious with tall ceilings, central air conditioning (yay!), both beds are comfortable and fairly new queen sized (listing indicates one is king), the kitchen has a full size drip coffee maker with a mesh basket, and the television is large with basic cable and good wifi connection. Parking and access were easy enough, and the apartment itself was gorgeously appointed. Spacious bathroom (not pictured but its just as beautiful as the rest of the apartment). Stormcloud is right next door (bonus points for easy guaranteed parking at the busiest place downtown) and quiets down at 10 or 10:30 promptly every evening. Easy walk to Crescent, Perks or Bella's for coffee and breakfast to-go on the way to the pier to watch the boats come and go in the morning. A little spidery due to the high ceilings and many windows, but easy to fix (and if you're not used to vacationing up north, for context "a little spidery" is definitely a nitpick). We very much enjoyed our stay.
