We came to Missouri for my Godson’s Army graduation. The 8 of us had so much space and privacy all in one home. Clean, comfortable and the location was perfectly suited between Ft.LW and many options for exploring. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
Stayed with family for our daughter’s military graduation. Responsive and quick to help with any questions we had. Perfect space for our family to spread out throughout the house. Close to markets and base.

Jaime and the family left the house in great condition!
Our large family fit comfortably in this home. The large yard was perfect for us to get out and burn some energy from our long trip. Homeowners were extremely generous of their time and made sure we were well cared for.

My family and I were here for an army graduation. This home was beautiful and very spacious for my large family. This home has everything that you need The only thing that I would suggest is communication with the owners. It took me a while to retrieve the access code and I had to do it through VRBO. I even emailed the owners and never got a response back. Overall it's a great stay!!!

Army graduation
There were lots of available places to sleep. The house was clean. We do have family that are sensitive to smells and there were a lot of freshners in the home. We didn't get an email about how to enter the home so it took a while for me to figure out how to call the owner to gain access.

Check your sheets
This house was deceiving. The updated rooms/bathroom shown were a part of an add on, off the kitchen through a sliding door, which we thought lead to backyard. Majority of the house is out-dated 80’s. Master bathroom-shower door is not connected and almost fell off. Upon arrival we checked the beds and found hair on the sheets and pillows and had to change & wash sheets and towels (stained) would have left but it was after 8pm, raining and unfamiliar place. Did leave a day early and went to a hotel, while packing our things to go we found someone else’s underwear, under the front-room bed. (Btw we only stayed because of Army graduation following day) Definitely would not recommend.

We offered to send a cleaner to address the guests claims upon check-in, the guest declined, stating there were no issues and that she simply wanted to inform us. We were willing to offer a refund on the first night, but everything seemed to be fine until the guest started to make unreasonable demands for a refund after 2 nights of stay. Regarding the claim about leaving early, it's important to clarify that it's not accurate. In our small military town, it's commonly known that the army released soldiers early for the holiday, so many families, including this guest, departed ahead of schedule. The house, located on historic Route 66, preserves its original charm, and we've added modern features to accommodate more guests. The photos in our VRBO listing show the property exactly as it is. We have a firm policy requesting that guests report any issues within the first 24 hours of their stay. After that, it’s difficult to verify claims such as the one regarding the underwear, as our cleaners conduct thorough inspections between guests and it’s hard to validate after a guest has stayed for a few days. Unfortunately, this guest did not leave the house in good condition, and would not feel comfortable renting to them again.
Booked 2 months in advance for a 2 night stay, after flight delays arrive at the house to find information provided (door code) was wrong. Slept in a Waffle House parking lot after unsuccessful communication attempts to the owner at 2am. The owner reached out to me at 5:45am and had no idea I had a paid reservation to the house! I tried getting a hotel and everything was booked for AIT graduations at Ft. Leonard wood. She quickly provided access to the house after I explained the situation, provided proof of reservation. She allowed us to stay the night and provided a full refund for the inconvenience. She was more than helpful and went above and beyond to help us with our stay during my daughters Army graduation. She saved us when Vrbo had no answers for me. The Vrbo representative I spoke to at 2am told me I should have checked in a 3pm not 2am. I was beyond upset to say the least.
