Live Oak Landing offers a rare 3/3 (2 Master Suites) spacious home in the historic Santa Rita neighborhood! Our home offers a quiet spacious area to either come and relax or be minutes away from shopping, the college, or a stroll in the park!

Comes with a fully stocked kitchen, washer/dryer, linens/ towels, one living space, 2 master suites (perfect for large families or groups), dining room, & sunroom for reading or relaxing in the recliner! Fiber optic 500mbps Wifi internet in the house so you're able to stream whatever you wish! House has been almost fully renovated so everything is new from the furniture to the walk in showers! Composite covered back patio with new cedar railing and rocker chairs makes for a good way to wind down after a long day.

Make sure all windows and doors are closed and locked with ac set on 78 in summer and 64 in winter.

-Please take trash outside when leaving, place bins by curb on Thursday night for pick up Friday morning
-Do not remove or enter area's with pad locks on them! Do not move outdoor furniture and clean/empty grease grill if used.
-Do not leave windows open, water running, or doors unlocked when leaving the property. Set a/c to 78 in summer and heat to 64 for winter

Host communication needs to be improved, stock extra garbage bags and kitchen towels, replace light bulbs, several not working, threshold nails were poking out of the floor at the front door, toilet seat in one of the master bathrooms doesn't stay open, consistant check-out instructions, make sure entrance code is entered properly.

Responded within 10 minutes, extra bags are provided under sink, was never told about a few light bulbs being out, check out instructions have always been very clear and simple. Code was correct after checking, guest just had issues punching the numbers in.

Perfect for what we needed!

We stayed here for work, and there was enough room for 4 guys to comfortably have their own stpace. The kitchen was fully stocked, the beds comfortable, and the patio was a nice place to relax after work. The area was nice and there were lots of places to eat around there. Also, the owners were a DREAM to work woth. 10 out of 10 would definitely recommend!!

Central San Angelo family gathering

We had three family groups meeting to celebrate birthdays and spend time together. This house on Live Oak Street is in a central location, older neighborhood, with fast access to Angelo State and downtown. The three bathrooms allowed each family the desired privacy and offered one bathtub and two walk-in showers. The kitchen was well-equipped and the grill was ready to use. The house was simply decorated without clutter making it a great place to have a 3-year old without worry.

After reading all the excellent reviews, I thought this would be the perfect place to stay. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case for our family. We arrived in the evening and the front porch area was not well lit, which made it difficult to see the key pad to enter the code. The back porch area was dirty, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in some time. In one of the master suite bathrooms there were used shampoo & conditioner bottles left open. This suite also had several dead cockroaches on the floor. We had to kill a live cockroach on the kitchen counter. There was laundry left in the dryer. The propane tank was empty, but the host did respond in a timely manner and we found the other propane tank. I should have checked the amenities better, I just assumed there would have been an iron. We did like the location, it was close to Goodfellow Air force base. My suggestion would be to find a better cleaning service, and get the house sprayed for bugs.

Just to quickly respond, I will have the light checked out on the front porch I haven't heard of any complaints on that. Back porch is cleaned but with constant dust storms and long back to back stays it can be very difficult. I will look into the shampoo bottles as they are kits we set out. We spray for bugs once every 2 months and we just had them spray 3 weeks ago so not sure what else we can do there. But I will check on things to make sure everything is good to go. Thanks

The historic Santa Rita neighborhood is right in the middle of town, offers a unique blend of old houses that have been updated works of art, and its a very family/ pet friendly area.

What makes this property unique

While it was built in the 1950's its been updated throughout but we left some original pieces in the home like original toilet and bath tub in the hall bathroom, rotary phone inset in the hallway and has original hardwood floors underneath. Also a converted garage into a new master bedroom suite offers more floor space for guests.
