Never again for several reasons!

Chose this place because of the 2nd photo on the website page. That ocean view picture was actually taken from a completely different place at the other end of the complex. We were expecting to sit on the balcony drinking coffee looking at the ocean. It was a disappointing view. I reached out to the folks listed on the forms (hoping we were in the wrong vrbo) but they were no help. Next…the bunk beds were unusable because neither one had a bar/board that would stop someone from falling off. It looked like there was a broken piece that may or may not have been for this reason. We just had to double up in beds. Next was the antiquated microwave oven that was so old - none of us could figure out how to use it at all. Lastly, a large cockroach was in the kitchen area the last night that we were there. I understand that these bugs are everywhere in the southeast and are difficult to control, but you don’t expect it in your vrbo!

Location is perfect, the condo not so much!

The condo was exactly as it was described. We knew it was going to be a tight squeeze, however the beds were extremely uncomfortable, the kitchen had minimal utensils and pans for use. I emailed the rental property twice and called once about the hair dryer not working (not that big of a deal) but I got no response whatsoever. The location is wonderful! One thing that should be mentioned is that you are not allowed to hang towels or beach gear on the balcony, which would have been nice to know beforehand instead of having a neighbor yell over at us for doing it. The beach chairs at the property were horrible, and on the verge of being tossed in the trash can. Overall, we had a wonderful time despite our first world problems, but we will not be staying at this property again.

Outstanding Management

Hello, we initially had some bad luck and bad timing with the air conditioner going bad over the July 4th holiday. Without going into details I can attest the property representative, Charlene, was outstanding in her efforts to rectify and accommodate. Mechanical issues will happen everywhere and are unpredictable, but how one responds during difficult times reveals their true character; for us, Charlene shined!

Quaint Condo at the Beach

I enjoyed being close to the beach and the quaint condo is perfect for a weekend getaway. While the condo itself was updated, the property seemed outdated and could have better parking and entrance gates. Overall, the host were very attentive and available when I called. Thank you

Great weekend getaway

Our family of 4 stayed for the weekend and it was perfect. The balcony has a great view of the beach. The unit is on the first floor which makes for easy loading/unloading. It’s next to the pool for easy access. The complex is on the beach so you don’t have to worry about the hassles of having to drive to the beach. Charlene provides fun beach/pool toys if you have children. I can’t wait to go back!

Location of property was excellent. Condo was well equipped. Check in was disorganized. Condo cleanliness could have been better. Floors were sandy, bedspreads smelled of urine, food marks/smears on woodwork.

Not too bad

The location is great, the view is great, and there’s a lot that’s positive about the place. At a distance, it looks great, however, it’s a tiny bit scruffy when you get close up. There are nicks in the furniture, the patio-door handle came off in my hand (I fixed it using the vegetable peeler as a screwdriver), the bathroom sink is missing a stopper (careful, don’t drop your contact lens), no one has dusted under the bed in a long time, and the beach umbrella proved to be too flimsy for HHI breezes. These are all small problems, and I’m sure they’ll be quickly fixed. In short, it wasn’t quite as nice as it was in the photos, but I would book it again.

The property is in a nice location, literally on the beach ! Communication with the property owner was excellent and instructions for check in/ check out were easy to follow. There was a good supply of basics provided. We’d highly recommend this property !

Perfect Getaway

My two small children, ages 5 & 3, decided to go on an impromptu trip to HHI. This little condo was perfect for us. Although the condo is small, it still was able to accommodate the three of us. My children were able to sleep comfortably in the one bedroom and I slept on the sleeper sofa; which was actually comfortable. The location is perfect! The complex has its own walkway straight to the beach, which is only a 3 minute walk. And if your tired of all the sand, the pool is rite outside your front door (and down the stairs). Anytime I had a question, Charlene, the owner, answered her phone. I cannot express what a delight it was to actually speak to the owner, a real human being, instead of an answering service. Thank you so much, Charlene for sharing your adorable condo with us and being such a wonderful host! We definitely will be back!

Amazing location for beach lovers and so close and convenient to all the best parts of the island!!

Beach access was so important to myself and my family and this location was prime! Communication with the property owner was excellent and instructions for check in/ check out were clearly stated and super simple to follow!! Our unit was clean and very comfortable and stocked with things we would need upon arrival! Will definitely be back to this spot!!

The property is in a nice location. The bedroom is very, very small. So small that there is not much room on either side of the bed, probably 2 ft on ne side and 1 ft on the other side.
