Lovely stay

This house was just right for us as we traveled to Montgomery on a history gathering get away! Location was ideal for going in all directness in central Alabama. Rooms were spacious yet cozy. We appreciated the little details.

Great property and owner

Communicated constantly about our stay and made sure everything was answered. Property was as described. Neighborhood seemed safe. We had 3 boats and no one bothered anything on our boats. Definitely recommend staying here

Good stay

The house was very clean, comfortable and convenient. Plenty of room to stretch out. Everything needed for cooking simple meals. Very nice refrigerator. Host was very quick to respond via email. Snacks and waters were left to enjoy. Even made sure we had plenty of ice and towels.

Owner forgot about our reservation and never gave us an access code. There wasnt a backup plan through VRBO other than cancelation and refund. The owner was working and not available for communication.

We really don’t get a lot of bookings from this platform and there aren’t any alerts or reminders sent out. I would also just suggest reaching out to hosts prior to showing up at the property if you haven’t received any check in instructions. Communication both ways is the safest way to avoid any issues. Again, we are very sorry that this happened.

Short changed

The house was nice and spacious, clean and comfortable. I was disappointed because it was supposed to sleep 5 persons and it had 1 queen, 2 doubles and 1small cot that did not hold an adult. We give it 3 out of 5 stars

Ross I am sorry that you didn’t enjoy all the accommodations. The house actually has two queen beds and a full bed. We apologize that on the VRBO site there wasn’t a picture of the single bed in the gym room. However, since that time we have actually put a twin bed in that room. Pretty house

I left review on book by door. Thank you for pretty house. We have fun in stay at pretty house. We felt safe in good neighbor. Next time, please have bottle water. Question: why is garage black out with curtain? I want to know what you are hiding. Anyways, thank you for fun stay. We will see your pretty home soon.

William I’m glad you enjoyed your stay. Maybe your guest picked up the water before you saw it because there were three bottles in the refrigerator and two bottles at the guest welcome table as you enter the house. Also, there isn’t a garage, but there is a storage room that is not accessible by guest.

He’s very rude we had our family and loved ones come see us and he were rude unprofessional threatening texting me all night i was very uncomfortable when he stated he couldn’t see the 4 girls coming in the home i do no recommend y

I’m surprised VRBO even let you put this review up after I threatened to call the police on you all for having an unauthorized party in the house!!! And you all disobeyed the no smoking rule and left party favors throughout the house!!! Plus, you all burned a cigarette/cigar stain into the bathroom sink!! Don’t consider anything that this retaliation review says! She promised to pay half for the damage but reneged on that! The only female that I mentioned to you was about the one turning my camera away from the door entrance so I couldn’t see who was coming in! What a joke!!

Update

Needs improvement and updates. As you walk in front door smelled mildewand reminds me of a funeral home. The back yard was a mess not very clean or up keep on it. I did notice a few updates but needs alot more. The peel and stick backsplashes in random walls and doors were a little odd.

Teddy, sorry you didn’t enjoy your stay. We rarely ever get that type of review. I’m not sure what mildew smell you’re referring to. Never heard that before nor experienced it as I’m in and out often. As far as the backyard it was under renovation along with a guesthouse and the pond. We actually put that outside work was occurring in the check in instructions.
