This cottage compound is perfect for peaceful retreats, romantic getaways, and nature-filled family vacations. The cottage is fully furnished and includes a fully equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, TV, linens, and Wi-Fi. Guests can enjoy 3 kayaks and 1 paddleboard, along with paddles and life vests.

Please note that smoking is only permitted at the firepit and not outside the cottage. Pets are allowed with prior approval from management for an additional fee. The pool and dock on-site are for the owner's private use only.

Recent upgrades include a new mattress for the sleeper sofa and improvements to the water system for better water pressure and purity.

Enjoy a relaxing day sitting on the deck and take in the calming waters of Lake Champlain. Just steps away, you’ll find a beach where you can swim or kayak. Pack a picnic lunch and paddle over to Valcour Island to see the lighthouse and explore the island.

The cottage is located in a neighborhood with lake access and a boat launch, and it has its own private beach.

A vehicle is required for transportation, and there is private on-site parking available.

Nice quiet get away

Peaceful lakeside cottage

Very much enjoyed our stay. Lovely deck with rocking chairs to enjoy beautiful Lake Champlain. Cottage was clean and had everything you would need. Bed was comfortable and nice to have a washer and dryer to utilize.

Home right on the lake

We loved this property! Clean, functional and a beautiful view of the lake! There are a few other rentals on this property that would be perfect for a family reunion/vacation.

Perfect Lakeside Getaway!

Our family of four truly enjoyed relaxing by the lake taking in all the tranquil sights and sounds. Our weekend was filled with kayaking, floating and fishing… just a short ride away from the spectacular Ausable Chasm. Not doubt we’ll be looking to return

Wonderful stay at Pine Cottages Heron Ledge!

My husband and I visited Pine Cottages at Heron Ledge. To my delight the cabin windoew faced the lake and the Lighthouse was directly across us. The view was amazing! The cottage was clean and we had everything we needed. The host and his wife where very thoughtful and professional. We really enjoyed our stay and will be back as soon as we are able!

Cute cottage overlooking the water. Off the road, quiet. We did rent the cottage as we read in a review that the fold out couch mattress had been replaced. Unfortunately the same metal wire spiked mattress is still there, just with a very thin foam cover over it. It would be very uncomfortable if I hadn’t brought my own foam mattress and unsuitable for sleeping. The room is quite nice though.

Nice, but two problems: 1. Furnace had to be repaired disturbing an afternoon's rest; 2. There is a 10AM check-out (with $100 penalty) which is not clearly specified before booking.

Love the lake

Beautiful views, owner was very friendly. There could have been a little more attention to detail. It would have been nice if the cottage had been aired out and air conditioners turned on prior to our arrival. We didn’t use the pull out because there appeared to be urine stains on the mattress cover. We ended up borrowing an inflatable mattress from a relative. Unfortunately the gas grill was so dirty we decided not to attempt cooking on it. Despite these short comings we enjoyed our stay. These little issues would be easy to fix.

The mattress and grill will be replaced with new ones. As for AC's being turned on before arrivals may be a bit difficult at times. But will try to monitor that.

Great Stay

We stayed at the cabin the week of October 9. It's a cute little cabin and everything we needed was already stocked. Wonderful view of the lake from the deck or the large living room window. They have a nice fire pit area - which was a big hit when our grandkids stopped to visit.

PINE COTTAGE REVIEW

MY HUSBAND AND I LOVED THE VIEW AND QUIET. TEMPERATURE LIMITED OUR OUTSIDE ACTIVITIES BUT THE GREAT VIEW INSIDE THE CABIN MADE UP FOR IT. THE ONLY ISSUE WE HAD WAS WE HAD TO RESET THE HEAT A FEW TIMES BUT THAT WAS CERTAINLY DOABLE. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY AGAIN IF GIVING THE OPPORTUNITY. THANK YOU!!

Great Location

We loved the location of the property right on the Lake. It is right next to a marina but was still nice and quiet. There were a few things we didn’t like about the property but it was fine, especially since we weren’t there most of the day. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen had all the appliances we needed. Located 10 minutes from Ausable Chasm which is amazing!! Also very close to Plattsburgh/the ferry to Vermont.

Relaxing getaway

We loved the quiet location, coffee on the porch overlooking the lake, waterfront access for swimming and enjoyed using the provided kayaks. The house had everthing we needed for a pleasant stay. Short drive to Ausable Chasm which was a fun daytrip.

Outstanding View Cottage

Absolutely love this place. Pine Cottage. Enjoy year after year.Nothing like having your morning coffee out on the veranda looking at the beautiful view of Lake Champlain. So peaceful. Extremely clean and very well equipped. The owners are very pleasant and helpful with anything you need. We love the boating and golfing. I would highly recommend this place.
