Very rustic, not enough heaters, power out, not worth the money

We were three adult couples looking to have a nice weekend in Valle de Guadalupe. This place was just above camping. Of the four master bedrooms, one lost power, and we never got heaters for the other two, so we really only had one that worked. The beds were comfortable and the front desk tried their best to take care of us but after a full day of touring, waiting a half hour for someone to flip the breaker so you can have a hot water, heat, and light is no fun.

Dear Lisa, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are genuinely sorry to hear that your experience at the cabin did not meet your expectations. It is true that Valle can experience colder temperatures during this time of year, and we understand that it may have been unexpected for you and your group. We strive to provide a comfortable environment for all our guests, and we regret that the weather posed a challenge during your stay. We do provide ample firewood for our large fireplace, which many of our guests find keeps the cabin warm and cozy throughout the day. Additionally, the manager was quick to provide two heaters for two of the rooms, and the third room is equipped with a mini-split with a heater. We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the maintenance issue you experienced. Our team did respond promptly, and we regret that we were unable to address the issue to your satisfaction. We understand that you were tired after your wine tasting tour, and we appreciate your understanding that we need guest cooperation to resolve such matters. We would like to clarify that the maintenance issue was unrelated to the availability of hot water, as the cabin is equipped with a gas water heater. We regret any confusion and hope that this did not significantly impact your overall experience. We are grateful for your understanding and hope that the complimentary breakfast and dessert offered to you helped to alleviate the inconvenience you encountered.
