About this property
Grandpa's green apartment
Thoughtfully renovated traditional mining house in a peaceful setting, only 3km away from Banska Stiavnica city centre.
This stone gem is a dog friendly apartment with private courtyard, mainly suitable for a couple wishing for a romantic gateway.
PS: All the reconstruction has been done by ourselves and our own hands. Its a never-ending love affair.
The space
The space
We have turned 100 years old mining house into our dream house. It consists of 2 separate spaces with their private entrances, parking spots and courtyards: Pink Cottage and Grandpa's green apartment.
Grandpa's green apartment is newly renovated place with modern core furniture and co-designed with mindfully chosen antiques. It has everything you can ask for from a fully furnished apartment: bedroom with seating arrangement, beautiful bathroom with shower, floor heating across the whole space, fully equipped kitchen with fridge, oven, toaster and kettle as well as washing machine and dryer. Outdoor seating with sun all day long can be enjoyed at night as well with glass of wine while star gazing. Private fireplace in garden offers beautiful views of Stiavnica mountains.
Grandpa has never lived here but we found an old wedding photo of his by accident and hanged it on the wall. Hence the name.
Unlimited Wifi is available in the whole apartment and front yard.
Free parking is only 100m away.
