The staff were helpful and the condo was well equipped and beautiful.We feel that the people who are working on reconstruction could be asked to their personal vehicle furthest away from the condo and leave spaces for guests open and always available. This is not about vans and trucks containing equipment and supplies. This is about the personal vehicles that take spaces close to beachfront condos. This shows a lack of concern for guests.

The staff is always so friendly and helpful. Condo was more than we expected because the veranda was finished. Nothing like waking up in the morning to a view of the ocean and freshly brewed coffee. The splash of the waves, briny ocean breeze and warming sun all combine to make it a serene, calming destination. The luxury of not having to worry about work or daily obligations allowed us to fully relax. Breathtaking Sea views & sunsets · fresh & clean air, relaxing sea breeze – what more could you ask for? Shells! That is what. Sanibel never fails to supply us with a grouping of shells to return home with. Already booked for our spring return.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were satisfied ultimately. When we arrived, the balcony was not accessible and we were not notified in advance. Work was interrupted by TS Debbie. Notwithstanding we were entitled to know this in advance of arrival. The manager went above and beyond her responsibilities in assisting us in saving our vehicle from being submerged in water. We appreciated that very much. Generally the customer service folks were very good.

Bed comfortable unit clean . Only 2 issues the first one was the web site says they close at 6 but they close at 5 pm so we arrived after hours and there is no one to give you directions to your unit nor are there maps of grounds available until you are in your unit. No help when you arrive late and don’t know where you are going cause units numbers are not visible until in are in stairways. So we wondered around in the rain until a guess that was put help us find our room . No big deal forgot about it after we got in room. But one big thing was we rented a gulf views condo but couldn’t use the patio it was lock because not been repaired . But this way not disclosed on the rooms Description, so we were unaware which had we known we probably would have choice a different unit . Because we could not enjoy the view we paid for cause our evenings had to be set in house not hearing the sounds of gulf or the smells , or enjoy our mornings coffe and breakfast on the deck watching the beautiful gulf . That was the biggest disappointment. I think they should disclose this before renting . I understand that they are still recovering, and it is a beautiful place . But I believe it should be shared if you can’t use the whole unit you paid for. But the unit , beach , pool , and grounds are beautiful!!! Need different after hours guess help for late arrivals . Or at least a phone number to call and talk to someone. Even after that I would recommend resort !!

We enjoyed the provided beach chairs/umbrellas every day. The grounds were absolutely beautiful as well. Everything we needed for a wonderful trip was provided at the resort. We also rented bikes that were dropped off at the resort and picked up for us. We loved this condo/location so much we have already booked it again for next year and are bringing our children next time!!

Unit Needs a Face Lift

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our unit was a Gulf front 2-bedroom. When visiting Sanibel Moorings in the past, we've learned that we really need a Gulf front unit to appreciate the Gulf breezes and the sounds of the surf throughout the stay--the inner units (somewhat euphemistically named "garden views") simply don't provide the daily sense of actually being at the sea. It's nice to sit on the screen balcony with a book and enjoy the sea birds and the harmony of the seaside. Although such units are rare at Sanibel Moorings and quite expensive to rent, they are the only units we consider.The unit was reasonably well appointed. The furnishings, however, were tired, worn and frequently stained. The carpet, in particular, needs replacing. When we first arrived, the unit had an odor we tend to associate, from prior unpleasant experiences, with the chemical treatment needed for "pet-friendly" units -- units we have learned to scrupulously avoid (until, I think, this one).

Great spot in Sanibel!

Don’t hesitate to stay in this condo with a beautiful view of the Gulf. It is a bike ride away from the lighthouse! The unit is well appointed and spotless! Communication with the management made us feel very well cared for. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location

This property was very conveniently located. Easy access to the beach and pool. Great location on the island to bike to lighthouse and ice cream. Only 2 things that were not excellent about our stay was 1) the outside of the building was being painted, which I understand needs to be maintained. However being woken up on vacation at 7:30am to a gas industrial power washer right outside my window was not ok and multiple days of being woken up at 7:30am to the painter moving and banging his ladders on the outside walls was upsetting. 2) there seemed to a problem with some sort of flying insect infesting the master bathroom. Everyday I would find multiple dead insects on the floor, larva stage insects trying to fly around the vanity. I don’t see how to attach photos of the problem with this review. Overall the property was excellent. Condo is updated and convenient to everything.

This was a beautiful condo. Well furnished, clean and comfortable. There was not a washer and dryer in the Condo, which I overlooked when I made the reservation. I have never been in a condo that didn’t have a washer & dryer. There was a coin laundry, but I did not want to spend my vacation time at a laundry. It would have been nice had they provided beach towels instead of us bringing our own. That’s a lot of extra weight in our luggage, especially when flying. You could rent them, but I wasn’t interested in paying to use beach towels with as much as we were paying for the condo. Other than that, it was a very nice condo. If those issues could be remedied, we would absolutely stay here again.
