Great location

Great location and very comfortable house. We appreciated the lodge activity passes. I hope we can use the main lodge’s pool again soon after Covid dies down.

Great Location, Vintage feel

The kitchen is pretty small by today's standards and the home is a bit of an early 80s time capsule with its decor and carpeting, but the spacious layout is marvelous and the proximity to Ketchum and SV resort are terrific.

Everything was Merry & Bright over our holiday at Saddle Road!

We enjoyed every minute during our holiday stay at Saddle Road! Location was ideal! Close to Dollar Mountain for our 5 year old ski lessons and Baldy for us. Across the street we enjoyed sledding at Penny Hill and in walking distance we found ourselves at SV Lodge for ice skating - hot chocolate - spa and Apres. We also coordinated with a local concierge - Ashley - who was out of this world. She made our holiday truly magical all week long. This was our first holiday away from the east coast but she made Saddle Road feel like home!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was such a great property. The only thing I would suggest is a safety rail from the dinning room to the sunken living room. We had an elderly person fall and a young child fall as well. :(

Feb trip - Sun Valley

Reviewer Comments: Very smooth check in process, picking up the keys at the office was quick and easy and we preferred this personal interaction to locating a lockbox/inputting codes. The house was exactly as the photos showed. We were 2 guests in a spacious property, many houses of this size try to cram in as many beds as possible which detracts from the experience (and the usable space!) if you're only a small party, this property is NOT one of those. Master bed is really big, nice ensuite. Lots of comfortable areas to sit and relax. This house has a nice library room where I was able to work whilst my partner was cooking or watching TV in the other area. Heated garage was a great for loading and unloading/storing ski gear without getting cold. Property was well situated for the ski areas we visited, and for Ketchum. It's on the road but there is no noise at all. This property doesn't allow pets which we liked - pet hair is difficult to totally remove unless you clean every day and I have pet hair allergies, no problems at this place. The wifi was excellent, kitchen was well-equipped (an electric kettle was the only thing we missed), comfy beds and everything was clean and in a good state of repair. It was a very relaxing and cozy place to hang out after a day on the ski trails.

Reviewer Comments: We couldn't have asked for a better home or experience. 104 Saddle Road was the perfect place for the 4 of us (two couples) - Great privacy, great common areas and the location was absolutely perfect. Walk to downtown Ketchum, hike outside the front door at White Cloud, run over the Sun Valley Lodge ... and we were afraid that Saddle was a busy road. It's not an issue. While the home isn't "luxurious" in the finishes, it is quality and was the perfect home for us!

Perfect location for cycling!

The home is very comfortable inside and the outside living space wonderful!!! We used this as a home base for road cycling and mountain biking. It was nice just leaving from the house and no need to drive to trail heads.

Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at this house for 15 years and it is always a wonderful experience. It is always clean and the best location! The only item that I would recommend is that the couch and chairs are in need of replacing. They are old and extremely uncomfortable, otherwise it is always wonderful ~ we love it!!
