We loved this place. It is the ultimate ski lodge. If you want an ultra-modern, clean-line type place, this will not be your vibe. But if you want a place that feels like it should be in central Idaho, this is the place for you. Close to the resorts and shuttle service. The on-site community hot tub and sauna are a huge bonus. The Property Management company was great to work with and super responsive. We stayed with our family of seven and did not feel cramped at all. Would stay here again 100%.

Thanksgiving get-away

We had a great experience at this condo. It was comfortable and easily accessible. We were close to everything we wanted to do and far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. We will be booking this same unit again for our next trip to Sun Valley.

Great location but showing its age

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay in Elkhorn (Sun Valley). The condo is showing its age and had some deferred maintenance. Sink and shower were very slow to drain and the clothes washer was not functioning properly. The unit needs a polish to get modernized with some new carpet, furniture and decoration choices. It is also very dark inside but it didn’t bother us. It was clean and had newer appliances in the kitchen other than the fridge. I don’t want to sound too critical as it was reasonably priced for Sun Valley and I would stay there again, but it’s not a full 5 star rating for me. Location is great with pools being a short bike ride away. Outside, the condo complex was well maintained. Nice neighbors.

Dated, but not bad.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Alpine did a very good job at showing what this property was. It’s a bit dated but beds were comfortable and everything was clean. I would say the owners should do a deep carpet clean but again, the price was right and the place was cozy. I wish it had a wood burning fireplace instead of gas.

Great mountain condo

Loved the location and it was so nice to have a kitchen for the stay. Kids loved camping in the loft together! TV listed in the bedroom wasn't present. TV in the master is connected to dish network only. DVD player is dead, and the TV doesn't have anything but RCA connections so we ended up trying to stream movies after skiing on my laptop, which wasn't great. Could definitely use an upgrade there. I'd stay again in a moment though, was a great condo over all.

4/10 Poor

This condo is sub-par

The condo looks very light and bright in the photos, but when we arrived we were quite disappointed. It has not been updated in any way EVER, and it was not very clean. Some of the dishes were dirty and it had a musty smell. There is still carpeting in the bathrooms where the toilets are and the linens were at least 25 years old. Then we discovered ants in the kitchen/dining area. I am all for "rustic,' but this was just old and not well taken care of. I gave it two stars because the location/view was fantastic. Renter beware!!

We appreciate your feed back on this condo. It is rated Bronze and if you read what Bronze indicates for such properties on our website you know exactly what you are booking. We always encourage our owners to try and keep their places up dated to the best of our ability. We did offer to come take care of the ant problem while you were here, but refused our services. We always make it our goal to make a guests stay as comfortable as possible and even offered you a different place to stay, but you chose to stay in this condo. Our cleaning crew is top notch and always leaves a place clean for the next guest. We can't always do deep cleans in between stays, but do leave it clean.

Horrible, horrible horrible!

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very unhappy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The place was dingy, old and had carpet around the toilet. Carpet felt and looked filthy. The TV's were circa 1995 and the pans all were scratched Teflon. The furniture was also 1995 or older. In need up an update badly!! I highly recommend staying somewhere else.
