We arrived on a day it was 90. No air units were running so the house was warm and took a while to cool down. Dirty linens in the closet. Beds are less than desirable. Lots of room and quiet neighborhood, but don’t think I would stay there again.

The host communicates well. and the property includes the very basics. However, the current home lacks some of the nicer touches like coffee or comfy mattresses.We had 2 towels for 4 people and there was no soap in the showers or bath mat on slippery floor. There is one TV in the basement but there were multiple streaming options. We had a good time and made it work but there is room for improvement.

Could not find towels in the house had to ask host but it was too late as my message was sent in the evening, there were no pillows or blankets really and only one tv which was in the basement...also the kitchen was very flimsy as all the kitchen drawers were falling off and i was afraid to open any

Group staying for Storming of Thunder Ridge

We loved our stay at this house! Kitchen was extremely well stocked and we had space for our group that came for a long bike ride in the area. The house is adorable, parking was easy and it was a charming stay!! Only thing to note is the basement rooms are a little on the warmer side, so just keep that in mind if you're a warmer sleeper!

Place was nice and clean. Only a few suggestions, it was freezing in the house when we arrived inside the house was only 50 degrees outside temps were 30 took awile to heat up. The mattresses on the beds were not comfortable at all. No toaster in the kitchen. No tvs in any of the bedrooms only 1 in the basement. Overall very charming home.

Beautiful

This house is beautiful. Communication with owner was fabulous. Checkin was easy. The house worked beautifully for the needs of our guys. It is close to a lot of different things in Lynchburg. I would highly recommend this house for anyone.

Peaceful and Comfortable

Our family had a peaceful and comfortable stay while visiting our son at L.U. We were a little put off by the yard not being mowed which drew a lot of mosquitos, and by the hot tub being deflated and overgrown. But, when we got in the house it was lovely and clean. We enjoyed the pretty touches that made it feel like home.

The kitchen was amazing and completely shocked with every appliance and utensil you could ever need. The backyard was disappointing with no privacy, no hot tub, and the view of the neighbors yard was scary.

The photos and description did not make it clear that the master suite was upstairs, which was something we wanted to avoid. Otherwise it was a comfortable house even though somewhat in need of maintenance.

Dishes were all in the dishwasher still dirty. There were spots of blood on one of the quilts, dirty tablecloth. The view outside in the next door neighbors back yard was like a dump. Not pleasing to look at. The house was nice, but it was not cleaned before we got there. I didn't think about pics of the dishwasher before we washed the dishes, so there's no picture. The tablecloth is on another phone, I think, which I will send if you want it. We put it with the dirty linens.

In September we rented a house for two nights for our son's wedding. Two hours before our check in we recieved a notice telling us the hot tub was broke, we were not to use the fire place, and details regarding issues with the air conditioning system. When we checked-in, there was a note in one of the rooms advising us not to use the front door and not to use the back door. The basement was musty, many of the dishes were not clean, and someone had food stored in the pantry and we were told not to use the food. We asked for additional sheets/blankets and we werlhe told they were in a closet in the loft. When we went to get them, they were thrown in a pile on the floor. Also, we were asked to take off sheets before leaving and remake the beds, and place dirty sheets in the washer. The host did refund us some money because of the broken hot tub. Thank you
