Family had a great time staying at Tony and Samira's Farm. They were super friendly and communicative. Kids loved the farm atmosphere with chickens, sheep, goats, and lots of lizards. They were so thoughtful as to notify us of the volcano eruption happening and we were lucky enough to catch this event!
This newly renovated apartment was a spacious retreat for our family of 4. It was very well equipped for cooking meals and everything we needed and asked for was provided. Tony and Samira were fantastic hosts! They even let the kids feed the goats and chickens, which provided great entertainment running about! The location was great for exploring all of the southeast - from south coast sites, Hilo, beaches & coves with sea turtles, waterfalls and botanical gardens, and Hawaii Volcanoes National Park (45 min). Even the whale watching from the end of the road at the cliffs was awesome. Terrific location to get to know the locals side of the Big Island at your own pace. This is a terrific find!
