Great location. Great host! Clean home!

We had a great stay in Helen and our VRBO host and property were a big part of our trip. The location is a short walk or drive to everything Helen has to offer. Comfortable beds, clean place and great hosts!

It was wonderful yes we would like to stay again the only problem was the ac in the dining room wasn't working and the back door was hard to open and closed and the grill needed to be cleaned but otherwise it was excellent would recommend

Great space!

Spacious and well-stocked townhome close to downtown Helen. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. The game room was a hit with our 12 and 14-year-old boys, as well as their grandpa.

Great Spot

We attended a local event and this was the perfect place to stay. It was within walking distance from the town, but at the same time it was far away to be private. The host was amazing and responsive. The place was great and accommodated everyone without problems. The driveway was pretty steep, some cars were parked in the grass field right across from the property for safety concerns. The neighbors were really friendly and cool. Loved the experience.

Hot Tubless

The home is amazing. If you forget anything, you will probably find that it is provided. The game area is a great hangout. The only issue was that it has listed that it has a hot tub, but it does not. I was lookin g for a place with a pool or hot tub, so my kids were disappointed. However, there is plenty do do in the home and around the area.

nice but not exactly what we were expecting

Very nice property, there was a mistake in the listing (showed 2 beds/room) but the owner helped us work it out and corrected the listing. We were expecting a jacuzzi but it was a spa tub in the master bath. The kids LOVED the basement playroom! The couch bed down there is one of those little futon couches. We did enjoy our stay and the owners were helpful - it just wasn't exactly what we were expecting.

Helen Ga family trip

I can't say enough great things about this property and owner. From the minute we stepped in my 6 yr old asked if we could live there or if we could build a house like it when we got home. Once the other kids got there they loved it as well. Its walking distance to the cool river tubing which is amazing. The whole house from top to bottom is great. The host was super helpful when we asked for recommendations to eat. Called once we got there to make sure everything was ok. If i could give this place 10 stars i would. Thank you Mrs Masterson for letting us stay in your amazing property. We will definitely be back in the winter to hopefully see some snow.

The host was very welcoming, but we did have an issue in the kitchen with the stove. We were unable to use the stove. It was not working. We ended up having to go out to eat for dinner. The 2nd night we were able to go next door to another unit in order to do pizza and cookies for the grandkids. I was also not to pleased that someone came into our unit while we were not there. I was told they were from the cable company and that was told to me after I told them that I had found something in the Livingroom that was left there by someone.

Thank you for your stay. I’d like to clarify a few details for future guests who may read this review. The stove issue was not reported to me until the second day of your stay. Once I was notified, I responded right away and did everything possible. The stove unfortunately stopped working for an unknown reason, and since this is a privately owned home (not a hotel), we do not keep spare appliances on hand. It was also evening hours, so purchasing and installing a new stove immediately was not possible. To ensure your grandchildren still had a way to cook their pizza and cookies, I provided access to the neighboring unit’s kitchen. Regarding your concern about someone entering the unit: the only people who accessed the property were licensed cable technicians, and I was standing at the door the entire time. Our internet/cable box was fried due to the storm, and the technicians had to replace the equipment to restore your service. No one entered without my knowledge or supervision. I always aim to provide a warm and welcoming experience, and I addressed every issue as quickly as circumstances allowed. It’s disappointing to receive a lower rating for issues that were reported late and could only be resolved during business hours. Thank you again for your feedback.
