About this property
Nature Enthusiast-SxS Friendly-6p Hot Tub-Bonfire
Indulge in breathtaking nature views from a 6-person hot tub at this secluded retreat. Cozy up by the fireplace, watch movies on a 65" TV, or challenge your family to board games and video game battles. The open layout offers ample room for everyone, while the expansive private backyard beckons you to explore. Park your trucks & snowmobiles on the 70-foot driveway and hit the trails directly from the house. Recharge your EV w/ the area's only 220 EV charger and unwind in this idyllic haven.
The space
A split ranch design with vaulted ceilings. Lots of room inside w/ good size bedrooms, multiple eating areas inside and outside. Fully stocked kitchen. Kid friendly. Very private back yard. Take the supplied Kayaks down the trail to the lake. We have a seasonal inground pool in the sub as well as a boat launch to access the lake(smaller boats or pontoons). The lake has a sand bar with multiple islands, a very unique place.
Guest access
Main floor of the house, deck, shed, yard, and driveway
Other things to note
2 Kayaks on site to use. Lots of outdoor games and indoor games to use. Community pool, parks, and multiple inland lakes. No access to garage or basement, and a few locked closets. We are getting quotes to redo both decks as we know they need replacing. Dock, patio set, and outdoor games are seasonal.
**Verizon does not have cell service in the subdivision, so plan ahead. Once you get on wifi you can make calls.**

About the host
Hosted by Chase Gonion

Grew up in eastern Michigan, currently reside in St Clair MI. I enjoy all the seasons Michigan gives us. I like being a host because people can experience our "Gonion's Getaway" too.
Why they chose this property
Love the feel of the neighborhood, location to town and other big attractions up north, but yet feels up north. We love the privacy we have at our place. Gaylord is know as the snow belt of the lower and we love to snowmobile right from our place. The summer time is great in our sub too. From the pool to boating to bonfires. We have it all it seems.
What makes this property unique
The privacy for sure. We enjoy the hot tub out back especially after a day of snowmobiling or boating. We have a big firepit outside, plus our big driveway is great for trucks and trailers to bring the toys up. I also own a lot on the water that is two blocks and can walk down to. I put a seasonal dock up that guests can use and launch the kayaks from. Next year (2024) I will have a firepit down by the water. Currently working on putting up an igloo dome to enjoy (hopefully it will by up by end of 2023).
