Kitchen is unsanitary. Rat droppings everywhere. Dishes and silverware had to be hand washed with soap and water to remove scum. Sarah was hard to work with. We arrived early, about 2pm The house could have been available, but we were told the lock would not be changed to our code until 4:01 pm. We were notified by the insurance Co that Sarah had filed a claim for damages for towel and carpet damage, This was not a financial problem for us , but indicates dishonesty on the part of Sarah. We have had a home in Breckenridge, Co that we have rented for 25 years. We will not be reviewing this property because we understand how damaging negative reviews can be. It is hopefully a wakeup call for the owner. The house was left in better condition than when we arrived.

Thank you for your feedback, Robert. I’d like to clarify a few points regarding your stay.
You and your group arrived more than two hours before check-in, despite a courtesy message sent that morning confirming the 4:00 p.m. check-in time. You also returned to the property multiple times while the cleaner was still preparing the home. During your stay, one of your guests vomited on the bed, towels and white carpet and tried to hide it with a blanket. Photos of this were shared with you, but no response was received.
Communication was extremely difficult both before and during the stay. Even so, I chose not to charge the full amount for the damages, though I had every right to do so, as a gesture of good faith.
Your review appears to be in retaliation for a legitimate damage claim. It was posted only after the claim was filed, which unfortunately reflects a disgruntled guest response rather than an honest account of your stay.
Regarding your statement about pests, this is entirely false. The home is professionally maintained, regularly cleaned, and there are no rodent or pest issues.
Given the overall experience, poor communication, lack of accountability, and disregard for house rules, I would not recommend Robert as a guest.
