This secluded country farmhouse is completely remodeled. The house provides sleeping arrangements for up to 10 with three full bedrooms and two full bathrooms. With 7 acres enjoy the outdoors with all that mother nature has to offer. Acres of trails surround the property with a large fire pit and sitting area. The covered front porch allows for great opportunities for your morning coffee or your evening cocktail. The bourbon themed farmhouse is great for any occasion. Get off the electronics and enjoy all the amenities that this property has to offer. However, if you are balancing work and pleasure, high speed internet is available along with multiple smart TVs within the house. Outside friends and family can enjoy grilling, volleyball, basketball, cornhole, archery and fire arms shooting range for yardages up to 100 yards. Fishing and guided hunting is available for additional fees upon request. Don’t miss out on all that this property has to offer.

Great Weekend Getaway

This place was fantastic! The house offered a charming blend of old-fashioned character with modern comforts. The shooting range was definitely a highlight for me and my friends; we’d come back just for that experience alone. Being surrounded by nature and the peaceful pond made the stay even more relaxing, and a few of us even enjoyed some bird watching. John was a wonderful host, he was friendly, accommodating, and a pleasure to work with. Book with confidence; you’re in for a great time!

So many fun activities

Cozy house with SOOO many options for outdoor activities! John was very responsive and offered up numerous tips for enjoying the property as well as the local area. The kids especially enjoyed the trampoline and ninja warrior course, and the adults enjoyed watching the sunset from the comfy chairs on the front porch.

Very welcoming

The house was so cozy, organized, and clean. We had a funeral to attend, and our time there was very scheduled and busy. By the end of the day we were exhausted, so walking into the home in the evening was like receiving a big hug.

Family Togetherness

The property was exactly as described. Family came from three states to spend a few days together. Everyone was thrilled especially the children with all the available activities. The location was perfect, the property spotless and the owner very responsive to any questions we had. We want to return during the fall as July in Illinois was extremely hot so we weren't able to have a bonfire! Otherwise we loved it!

Great property & owner

The house was clean and had everything we needed inside and out. I really appreciated a clean and empty fridge. The owner was responsive, helpful & kind. The only thing I would have changed is that some areas had been recently mowed. However, I know how fast things grow when there has been lots of rain so it may very well have been. So we blamed it on the weather.My granddaughter & I had a lovely time and highly recommend this property to anyone.

This property has 7 acres of peace & quiet, surrounded by all the sights & sounds of nature. Outdoor activities abound and evening campfires are absolutely my favorite things about the property. All the added updates inside the house also make it very appealing.

What makes this property unique

The secluded area makes this property unique. All of the outdoor activities also makes it very inviting to people of all walks of life. The ability to bring friends & family together with sleeping arrangements up to 10 people also makes this property a great value for renters.
