Overall our stay was great—the location was hard to beat. You can see the WaSheShu lift from the condo. True ski in-ski out. The building had wonderful amenities, including 3 hot tubs, fitness center, and business rooms. We had 2 small complaints: 1) the kitchen is truly a kitchenette and has no oven. Looking back, the listing didn’t advertise an oven, but when you advertise a kitchen, it feels like lack of an oven should be called out. That messed with our dinner plans a bit. 2) there were only 3 towels for the bath and hot tub for the entire stay, despite being advertised as accommodating 4 people. We were unable to get more towels from the front desk and the host did not respond when we reached out to ask for more. We ended up driving to Truckee to buy our own towels because using the same towel for the bath and the hot tub felt gross. This is overall a minor inconvenience, but for how high the price is per night, it feels like a minor thing that could improve the experience tremendously. Overall, as long as you aren’t looking for luxury, it’s a very solid, convenient condo, but would definitely be more comfortable for a couple than a family of 4.
Property was as listed and better! We came with two teenage boys who were not overly happy about sharing the pull out. You can imagine their excitement when we arrived to find a twin bed in the room (a very comfortable one at that). Our family is used to staying in close quarters on vacation so the size worked great for us. Although might be considered tight for other families with two teens. We could see the Wa She shu lift from our table! Nothing like ski in/ski out!!! The hot tubs were a great way to unwind at the end of the day. The pool was technically closed but we saw people cold plunging. There was also a nice weight room, steam room and sauna. The lobby area is modern with a good amount of seating and a gas fireplace as well as some high top tables which we ate dinner at one night. We had a great stay and would highly recommend this Vrbo for a couple of family who doesn’t mind being in close quarters!

Dear Carina,
We're thrilled to hear you and your family had a wonderful stay at our lodge. It's great to know the accommodations met your needs, and that the ski-in/ski-out convenience and amenities were a hit.
We appreciate your feedback and are glad to hear the twin bed was a comfortable addition for your teenage sons. As you noted, the unit size may work best for smaller families, but it sounds like your crew navigated the space well.
We're delighted you made the most of the hot tubs and other facilities during your stay. The pool may look like an adventure but is officially closed in the off-season.
Thank you for the kind recommendation - we look forward to welcoming you back to our lodge in the future, perhaps in one of our larger Studio w/Loft options (one with a full fridge,) to provide even more space (and benefits!) for your growing family.
Best regards,
Jenny W
