Beautiful stay, the cabin was quiet and secluded. We actually saw black bears walk right past the back porch!!! 10,000x better than staying in some resort.
We had a fantastic stay! The place was extremely clean, comfortable, and just as described. It was perfect for the two of us and made for a relaxing getaway. The owner was wonderful - very friendly and responsive, with excellent communication throughout the whole process. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Highly recommend!
One of the most comfortable beds I’ve slept in! Has a nice yard if your dog travels with you. Location is very close to downtown Gatlinburg and still has privacy. Definitely recommend

Thank you for the awesome review Juanita. Please bring the family back again for your next mountain getaway!
This is a perfect location for exploring Gatlinburg and Great Smoky Mountain National Park. The cabin is very homey and comfortable, with a large kitchen and spa-like bathroom. Even though there are a couple of cabins at the beginning of the lane, it was very quiet and felt secluded. We were traveling with our dog and he enjoyed having space to roam around in the yard and all 3 of us loved hanging out on the large back deck.

Thank you for visiting Charles. The back porch is now equipped with a very comfortable outdoor furniture set and I added a couple more rocking chairs to the front porch. Whenever you feel the need to get away to the mountains I hope you’ll come back to Old Chapel Way.

Vaibhav, it was truly a pleasure to host your family and I hope you come back again next time you visit the Smokies!
We stayed for 4 nights and it was wonderful. The house was super clean. The shower was awesome! It was nice and roomy. Plenty of warm water! The bed was comfortable. Perfect king sized bed. The front porch was cute but we didn’t use it. The back porch was really nice to sit on at night and relax but there was a little road noise. Nothing too terrible. The patio furniture was very cozy. The cabin had every convenience of home. My only one minor inconvenience was the bathroom mirror. It’s kinda wavy when you’re trying to look in it. All and all it was a really relaxing vacation. I’d stay here again and would recommend others do too!
I stayed here the weekend right after Memorial Day. It was just me and my dog. It was very private and peaceful. Very clean and setup nicely for our arrival. The host was quick to answer any questions and was very helpful with details about the area. The cabin was not far from downtown and all the attractions. The grocery store was close by and also some local shops and restaurants. I did get lost a couple times trying to find the driveway, but that's on me. Lol.
I also walked my dog down the roads near the house and felt safe.
I hope to stay here again next year.

Thank you for the wonderful review Christy! Please come back again whenever you feel the mountains calling you.
My family and I absolutely fell in love with this cabin. It's not right on top of other homes, so you have a sense of privacy and peace. The view from the back porch is absolutely beautiful! The home is very comfortable and cozy, and fully equipped with top of the line appliances. The bathroom is amazing! I think that was my daughter's favorite feature. The home is very conveniently located to restaurants, grocery stores and a variety of other places in a nice village. You can be at the main parkway i. Gatlinburg in 9 minutes and on to Pigeon Forge in under 20 minutes. My family and I will definitely rent here again. Looking to come back in the summer. The host, Brad, is very responsive and a gentleman in communication. We look very forward to another visit here soon. Do yourself a favor and visit!

I appreciate the kind words Rebecca. Always great to have nice families enjoying the cabin. Thank you for taking care of it. Come back soon!
Cute secluded cabin. Having space to walk the dog around outside was great. Nicely renovated. My few negatives, mainly just personal preference:The rooms are tiny and the beds were not comfortable. The thermostat was locked at 68 and it was difficult to sleep as we are used to cooler temps at night. The mirror in the bathroom is unusable. I don’t know if it’s just old but it is wavy and looks like a fun house mirror. The shower is beautiful and big, but has no curtain or door so basically the entire bathroom is the shower and it feels like showering in a locker room. Which is fine for kids or guys I guess, but I don’t think the ladies will enjoy it. Kitchen has very minimal supplies. One cutting board, no mixing bowls, not even salt.Again, it’s personal preference. Not everyone is going to care about cooking on vacation, or not having a shower door, but I point out my issues either way in case others have the same preferences. Overall it was a nice house in a great location and it’s hard to find any place close to Gatlinburg that has real privacy and usable space around the cabin. Not sure if we would stay again simply due to the sleeping comfort. Or UNcomfort I should say.

All my previous guests have lauded the beds as extremely comfortable, probably due to the fact that I spent a lot of money on premium mattresses. The cabin was originally built in the 1950s and bedrooms were not designed large back then. The bedrooms are large enough to fit a king in the master bedroom and an oversized bunk bed in the second bedroom. I never had a negative comment about bedroom size before. The shower is oversized and designed without the need for a door which makes it both practical for keeping it clean and for aesthetics. Your desire to turn the ac below 68 degrees is unreasonable and could lead to the coils freezing and the ac being inoperable.
