Fall asleep to the sound of a rushing creek just outside your window. Cascading Creek Lodge is where the water becomes your soundtrack—morning coffee on the porch, afternoons by the firepit, and evenings in the hot tub under the trees. It’s the kind of place guests come to slow down… and end up planning their return before they leave.
This cozy 2-bedroom cabin is designed for connection—to nature, to each other, and to the kind of quiet that’s hard to find. Inside, you’ll find everything you need for a comfortable stay—soft linens, a well-stocked kitchen, and a welcoming space to unwind after a day exploring the North Georgia mountains. But the real magic is outside. Step onto the porch and listen—the creek runs along the property, creating a constant, peaceful backdrop. Walk down to the firepit by the water, soak in the hot tub, or simply sit and watch the trees move around you.
• Hot tub overlooking the creek • Firepit right by the water • Large outdoor space to relax and roam • Covered porch perfect for morning coffee • Peaceful setting with the sound of rushing water • Pet-friendly for your four-legged travel companions
Located near Hiawassee, you’re close to: • Lake Chatuge • Helen (about 30 minutes) • Hiking, waterfalls, and scenic drives You’ll have plenty to explore—but many guests find their favorite moments happen right here at the cabin.
The cabin is tucked into a quiet creekside community. You’ll pass through a small campground area on the way in, and there are a few neighboring cabins nearby. That said, once you’re at the property, the trees, the water, and the layout of the land create a space that feels peaceful and removed—most guests are surprised by how quiet and relaxing it is.
• Driveway is a bit steep—take it slow on arrival • Cell service can be spotty (WiFi provided) • Best suited for couples, small families, or a quiet getaway
If you’re looking for a place to reconnect, slow down, and let the sound of the creek do what it does best—you’ve found it.

Hi Rebecca! Thank you for sharing your experience! We are so glad our cabin was the perfect spot for your family’s spring break. We look forward to hosting you again soon.
The host was excellent with communication and very kind. The cabin was clean and tidy! Very comfortable couch and bed. Sounds of the creek were very relaxing. The hot tub was a wonderful and relaxing experience. Wonderful fire pit area as well. Highly recommend this location.
This was truly the best location we have stayed at. It was isolated enough to give us the privacy we were looking for, but still close enough to town for those last-minute runs. We didn't get to utilize the hot tub, but the outdoor space was everything we were looking for. I definitely plan to return in the future, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway, whether with your partner or your family!

We loved our stay! Actually added a day. Hot tub and fire pit next to the raging creek was great. Joni A was great to work with and very prompt. We'll definitely be coming back
The cabin is great. Lotsa space . Our Host was the best we had questions and immediately they gave us an answer. The fireplace isn't working right now that would have been nice to just have in it is gas. We loved sitting by the fire pit having coffee and relaxing. We did not get to enjoy the hot tub as much as we wanted but we will definitely book this cabin again.. so peaceful and clean.
This cabin was great and the creekside property was gorgeous! The location is perfect for going to Helen, exploring the Hiawassee area and taking day trips to Western NC. Everything you could need was at the cabin so all you have to do is show up and unwind. Highly recommend!
We are new to this state and this was our first trip up to the mountains. I am so glad that we found this cute cabin! It was perfect for our family of 3, and it had everything an active family needs after a day of hiking and exploring the area. The jacuzzi was great to way relieve those sore muscles, and the firepit was perfect for s'mores! We plan to stay there again on our next mountain adventure!

Thank you for the kind review, Alex! We are glad you and your family enjoyed the property and the hot tub! We hope to host you again.
I was expecting the property to be a little more secluded than what it was. Either way we had a blast! The hot tub was a nice touch especially because it was so cold outside! Followed up with a nice fire! We grilled steaks and just had a great time!

Thank you for your kind words! I’m so glad to hear you had a wonderful time and made the most of your stay. The hot tub and fire sound like the perfect way to enjoy the chilly weather, and grilling steaks is always a great touch. While the seclusion may not have been exactly what you expected, I’m thrilled you still had a blast. I’d love to host you again for another great getaway!
Premium location that really checks all the boxes. 15 minute drive to Ingles and a few restaurants, but secluded and quiet. We enjoyed hearing the crackle of the fire pit against the gentle rush of water from the creek, while being in the hot tub. The lighting was perfect. Everything was clean with plenty of towels and blankets. Host was responsive and courteous. Only other feedback would be I couldn’t find the fire starter, or matches. A couple lights were out (microwave light) and there wasn’t a lighter so we had to go get one. Really minor, just FYI and I’m sure they will take care of it. Definitely 100% worth the money, it’s the fantastic mountain getaway you’re looking for.
