Shaconage (Sha·KON·a·hey) is Cherokee for “Land of Blue Smoke”. Enjoy an amazing stay in the "Land of Blue Smoke" at Shaconage Rest, a recently refurbished cabin with expansive mountain views in the highly desirable area between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (only 2 miles southeast of Stoplight 10 in Pigeon Forge). Shaconage Rest is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin that comfortably sleeps 6-8 with all the amenities you've come to expect. The cabin has a king size log bed (with en suite bath, whirlpool tub and fireplace), a queen bedroom with log furniture adjacent to a full bath on the main floor, a queen sized sofa bed on the main floor with a stone walled gas fireplace, and full size futon bed in the loft game room. Both baths have been recently renovated. The cabin is comfortable for couples or families with children or older adults, featuring an access ramp from the driveway to the main floor. The kitchen is fully-equipped to be able to prepare memorable family meals and features stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and a gas grill on the porch. Water is provided by the City of Pigeon Forge. Views from the porch are southeastward towards the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Well appointed with four flat screen smart TV's, WIFI, HULU+Live, a pool table, a hot tub, and a community outdoor swimming pool, Shaconage Rest will give your family the fun and relaxation you’re looking for on your Smoky Mountain getaway.
