The communication between the host and our family was stellar! This home had everything our big family needed, from trash bags, coffee, paper towels, spices, pans, pods and laundry detergent. These minor amenities made a huge difference in our stay. It was clean, bright & fabulous decor. I loved the mud room and the bathroom on the first floor. The basement was converted w/ two beautiful large bedrooms and a bathroom to die for! It was gorgeous….I am familiar w/these older home & it’s architect and it’s design. I am telling you this place is perfectly located to everything! I am a hard critic and I promise I’ll be staying here again…The beds on upper level were extremely comfortable. The lighting for each bedroom bright and adequate. The host was Johnny on the spot to answer all of my questions. They were most accommodating. I wished everyone can take lessons on how to treat guests! The knocked it out of the park. My entire family loved & gave me 5 stars for picking out this wonderful home. If I could give them 100 stars I would! Thank you for making my son’s Naval Graduation memorable. It meant a lot and couldn’t of done it without this host and this wonderous home!

What a great place to stay!!!!!

From our initial booking until check- out all questions/requests were promptly addressed and completed. The set-up in the residence totally fit our needs. Would repeat this listing if the whole family comes back.

The property was clean spacious and had all the amenities that we needed. It is conveniently located 15 minutes from the naval base which was important to us since we were there for a graduation. I recommend this property to anyone that is looking for something that is clean comfortable And convenient

Great Stay

Communication with the host was excellent. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear, and the property details and pictures were accurate. While the house may be older, the host has updated it with nice and comfortable furnishings. This property is good value for the location. I would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect for Navy Graduation

Nice house with ample room for Navy Graduation. Close to restaurants and not far from base. Busy area so street traffic noise was common but you get used to it.

Great family friendly safe neighborhood and City. Close to good family attractions like 6-Flags, lake beach, Santa’s Village etc. Easy access to transportation into Chicago and Wrigley Field. Units were Ok but only one bathroom upstairs was inconvenient. Stairs to upstairs were narrow and dangerous. Third bedroom was downstairs next to dryer/washer room. Kitchen was very small with no garbage disposal and no dishwasher. Not a kids friendly layout overall. Overall satisfactory but not recommended for families with small kids.

Navy Graduation

I’ll start by saying by the Host is amazing and a wonderful communicator. I need an early check- in and the host was sincerely understanding and accommodating. The property is beautiful and immaculately clean. The house rules are easy to find as well as simple to follow. My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. I even recommended this property to a friend that will be staying in the area in a few weeks for their love ones Navy Graduation. This property and host are seriously Five Stars!!!

Family College Football Get Together

The house was great for our big family. We enjoyed being together in the open dining room/family room. Also enjoyed bedrooms being upstairs and downstairs so that we have space for each couple. The house was well stocked with towels and sheets for our big party. We also like being within walking distance to downtown. Only negative is I wish that we knew that house was on a busy street and not far from a hospital. Lots of ambulances in Friday and Saturday night.

Lot's of Room & Great Location

Perfect for large families. Plenty of bedrooms and large kitchen and dining room. This is a charming and very old home but it has been sufficiently updated with everything needed. The pod coffee maker stopped working but a quick message to the owner resolved that problem within the day. That was awesome! The only challenge we had was parking. There is a large driveway, but it seems that neighbors had dibs on almost the entire driveway. We just barely enough room for two cars. We only had two cars, so it worked for us.
