I wasn't used to using VRBO so had a little difficulty using my phone to do so, but the apartment was cute, clean, and comfortable. Be aware that it is located on the 2nd and 3rd floor of the townhouse, but it is in a quiet neighborhood with dining places nearby and isn't very far from the Arch and beautiful parks. Easy to find. I would stay there again.
The location is as described. The property is as described with all the amenities. We concluded the location is in the process of renovating. It was clean and comfortable. The host was very helpful.
The property was in a location convenient to many main attractions in St Louis. It was nice having a dedicated parking space, although street parking was available too. The neighborhood was quiet, and people we encountered were friendly. Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to get going in the morning.
The property does need to be painted and freshened up for a little nicer appearance. I would stay there again.

Girls weekend
The property at 925 S. Sarah, St. Louis, M9 is clean and spacious. As a recommendation, the bedframe upstairs middle room should be adjusted to fit the mattress. The frame not fitted and is a fall and skin punture hardard. You also need more dishes for your guest.
and fleash punture
The property was not exactly what I was expecting. It's in an up and coming neighborhood. I felt safe and we were close to a lot of places.
There were some minor cleanliness issues but nothing big. There was some type of powder on the edge of the bathtub (could have been Comet), the floors had not been swept and the trash can was half full. It's an old building so there was no expectation of hotel level spotlessness. The beds were hard as rocks.
The character of the building was a plus for me.
Overall it was a nice quiet place to stay and I would probably stay again.
We had a few problems with this place. It was fine for one night since we were not spending much time there. We had to park on the street because someone was in our parking spot even though there were very specific instructions about parking. We got to the place an hour or so after check in and as soon as we arrived a guy showed up to fix the toilet and we had no idea it was broken or that a maintenance guy was coming. The next morning we woke up to water dripping from the ceiling in the bathroom so that bathroom was no longer in use. Plus it felt like there was no air in the upstairs bedrooms so it got very stuffy. The place over all was not very clean, there were lots of stains on the walls and floors, there were cracks in the walls and doors too. I did not feel like the place was worth what we paid. One night stay was long enough.
I'm very unhappy with my stay by this host, Dan. 30 minutes before my check in he tells me the property is unavailable due to maintenance. He offers me another unit to stay in about 15 minutes away. The "new" unit was marked as 50% cheaper to rent per night along with one less bathroom and one less bedroom than the original unit i requested. I drove from Atlanta to St. Louis to meet friends who were coming from South Dakota, so we needed to stay somewhere. He has a non refundable cancelation policy, so i took the alternative location. He refused to deduct the price to the new rental amount, even though it was a huge inconvenience to myself and my friends. I will not be renting from Dan again.
Dirty townhouse and shiesty host. Wouldn't recommend staying here.
DON'T RENT THIS PROPERTY...Our stay was awful. I wish that I could post the pictures and screenshot of the conversation between me and the host for proof . The townhouse was filthy, and had an awful smell to it that made my friend's asthma act up. Floors weren't swept or moped. Tubs were dirty. There was a dirty rag with black stuff on it left sitting on the tub. Urine was all over the toilets. Sheets weren't clean. Hair was in the bathroom sinks. It was so filthy that we slept in the car, the one night we did stay. All of this was mentioned to the host, and I requested my money back. The host told me that if we left that all of my money would be refunded. Well that was a lie, because it's been over a month, and now they're telling me that I can't be refunded because of how the payment was collected. VRBO has even tried to reach out to the host and he's ignoring them too. He won't even give me the contact info of the 3rd party that collected the payment. We had even spoke the neighbors and they said when the cleaning person comes, that he's only in there for about 10 minutes "to clean". DON'T RENT THIS PROPERTY.
We were overall disappointed with the experience.
The positives:
- Communication was prompt and respectful
- Location was perfect for staying near to downtown and the Cardinals’ stadium, though the area seemed a bit sketchy.
- Place was clean (once they finally got the cleaners there)
The negatives:
- We paid an additional $75 for early check in. We got there at 11:30-ish, but the place had not been cleaned yet. We placed our luggage in the closet they told us to, and went to lunch. We came back about 1:30, still no cleaners, and messaged the landlord. We were finally told that the cleaners would be late and not done until the normal check in of 4:00. They refunded our $75, but this was VERY disappointing, as we needed to be in the unit early.
- When we DID go back at 4:00, THE FRONT DOOR WAS UNLOCKED AND PARTIALLY OPEN, AS WELL AS THE DOOR TO OUR UNIT!
- When we walked in, the closet door to where our items were stored was wide open, though it appeared that all of our luggage was still there. HORRIBLE feeling. The cleaners just left the doors open when they left!
- The place has been updated somewhat, but it is still old and has an odor to it.
- Common area is small – two loveseats, small dining area. We had 8 people and didn’t have much room.
We will not return.
Place was clean. Easy to enter. The location was easy to find. Beds were comfy, showers were good. It was big enough for our group of 7. The area was safe and not noisy.
The stay was great for my family. The second floor was pretty hot for sleeping so next time I would bring a couple fans but it was also in the high 90's every day. We would book again in the future.
