Welcome to Duck Creek Village at 8500 ft!
In winter, our cabins offer a serene escape, but preparation is key for a safe journey. Here's what you need to know:
Before you set off:
1. Get real-time road conditions and weather updates with Utah's UDot app and Wunderground's website (zip code 84762).
2. Plan your travel wisely and avoid winter storms.
Once snow arrives:
• Highway 14 may have snow, and our gravel roads will be snowy. A 4x4 or AWD vehicle is required, with chains recommended.
• Snow removal is prioritized, but please keep in mind that we contract with snowplow companies who only plow after 6” or more of snow for driveways, and they will prioritize guests who check in or check out first, followed by groups who are mid stay.
• Power outages are rare, but if they occur, contact management and we will provide an update on the situation promptly.
Keep in mind:
• Nighttime arrivals may find limited services, so plan accordingly.
• While we're a small village, we're here to ensure your winter adventure is memorable and safe.

Great location nice log house

House is located in a very nice village-community. House is spacious and has a lot of nice surroundings. We explored canyons and had very good base in duck Creek. .

Great Hideaway

Great escape from the heat in Las Vegas. The cabin was spacious, clean and very comfortably. Great for entertaining. Pool table in the basement, wrap around porch, outdoor grill and firepit. We really enjoyed our stay.

Holiday Weekend in Duck Creek

We enjoyed all the space the property had to offer. It was nice that it was tucked back into the neighborhood on a quiet street. Loved the fire pit!! Though, property should have steps/walkway from house directly down to the fire pit instead of having to walk all the way around from the driveway.

Great Experience

Before our stay, we received a call from the property manager with helpful insights about local restaurants and advice about tire chains. They went above and beyond to be friendly. A door code made check-in easy and we didn’t have any problems while staying there. The property was clean and it was clear what we needed to do for the check out process. The property is at the top of a hill that can be icy or muddy so I definitely recommend bringing a car with 4 wheel drive. Even with chains it would be tough for a 2WD car to go up the driveway.
