Our cabin stay was wonderful! We were looking for a place to relax and enjoy lake life and definitely found it. We brought along our fishing boat which was easily launched across from the house and we had a blast fishing. Caught blue gill, perch, a few bass, and even a couple pike. The fishing was great for kids! Pretty much put a hook in and you caught something! We thoroughly enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boards each day too. The house was wonderfully laid out. Small in size but definitely not cramp, and it had all our family of five needed. Beds were comfortable enough and the shower had good hot water. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pots and pans, and even some extra spices, trash bags and such. Everything was clean enough to feel comfortable. The outside deck has great furniture to sit on and there was a good outside table to eat at. The charcoal grill was definitely helpful too. We loved roasting s’mores each night at the fire pit and greatly appreciated the provided firewood! We did find the vegetation at the shoreline to be greater than we had anticipated. It was much too weedy to swim near the shore so we had to paddle out a bit or use floats to swim in the deeper water. Though our boys did enjoy trying to catch frogs amongst the lily pads. The dock was very nice but we were surprised to see a pontoon docked there which definitely took up the view a bit. Overall, our stay gave us the lake life we were looking for and we’d most certainly stay again.
