Very private year round lake front cottage on 4.5 secluded acres on Webber Pond. Wide open floor plan with a commanding view of the lake from almost every window. Fully equipped stainless steel kitchen with granite countertops. Deep drilled well - no need to bring drinking water. This Rental has the best amenities - Quality furnishings, bedding, flat panel TV's, PS3, bead board ceilings, and hardwood floors throughout. Rinnai heating system, Spilt system for heating and air conditioning, deluxe gas grill. Comfortable outdoor dining table and chairs. Full size washer/dryer. This is a quiet lake great for fishing, canoeing, kayaking, or water skiing. Enjoy a spacious park like setting with a level lot and fire pit. 400 feet of spectacular waterfront with granite steps that gently lead into the water, you can catch 3-4 lb fish right off the dock! Two twin kayaks, canoe, and paddle boat at the cottage. There are two islands on the lake that you can boat out to and explore and camp on. The cottage has a beautiful eastern exposure with sensational sunrises.
Reservation may be cancelled up to 30 days prior to check in. Refunds will not be given but days may be rescheduled for available days in the future.

Updated, private cottage on quiet lake

The cottage was beautifully kept with everything you need and more. 2 full bathrooms were a bonus having 2 teens. The property was incredible, with many access points to the water and to fish from. The property is next to a nature preserve with trails, so very private and quiet. We especially enjoyed the variety of birds. We rent a camp on different lakes in Maine each summer and this one is definitely at the top of the list.

Lovely cottage on peaceful lake.

We fully enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. Though the house itself is small -- perfect for a group of one to three couples or a small family -- it has been fully renovated and is well-stocked and very comfortable. The property is expansive and beautifully situated with stunning views of the lake from the kitchen/dinning/living area. We rented a boat which we were able to dock on the property and enjoyed using the kayaks (which were in great shape) provided by the owner. The outdoor grill and all of the appliances/amenities were clean and well-maintained. This was our first stay on Webber Pond -- the lake was peaceful and was never crowded, and is not far from good restaurants in Augusta, Hallowell and Belgrade.

The house is not over the top, but it’s clean and has everything you need. The view was lovely, it had fun yard games, and the picnic tables were perfectly placed to enjoy the outdoors. Thanks for a great escape!

Serenity Cottage

We stayed at Serenity Cottage for Colby College graduation weekend. It is about 20 minutes from campus, but the gorgeous view of Webber Pond was worth the commute. The cottage is clean and updated. It is fully outfitted from the kitchen to the kayaks. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Perfect!

Fabulous lake house with outstanding views from every room. Very private. Super clean and well appointed! Enjoyed fishing right from the dock. Caught a good size bass. Can’t say enough about this cottage. We will definitely be back!

Perfectly private. Beautiful cottage. Plenty of room. Everything worked: multiple overhead fans, great AC, internet and TV, and excellent washer dryer. Multiple outdoor scenic places to enjoy, relax and read. Great canoe and multiple kayak. Fish kept biting off dock and lake. Close to excellent golf course and dining. Five star location!

Relaxing & Peaceful Location!

An excellently appointed and maintained cottage! If you are looking for quiet and peaceful relaxation, this is a perfect spot for you. Lisa and her husband have obviously gone above and beyond at making this a most comfortable retreat. AND, they are pretty nice people as well! We enjoyed our stay immensely.

Awesome family vacation on the lake at the Serenity

My family (husband and three kids between ages 7 - 10) just got back from an incredible stay at the Serenity cottage on beautiful Webber Pond. The water is literally 15 - 20 feet from the back of the house. The view of the lake from the house and the property is gorgeous and so peaceful. The property is huge with several access points to the water, and is incredibly private. It was like we had our own waterfront park at our disposal! I loved going out to the stone steps out back leading into the lake and taking in the lake views while enjoying my morning coffee. The cottage was thoughtfully designed to take full advantage of the water views. The house comfortably accommodated our family of 5 for the whole trip, as well as my mother-in-law who joined us for the first few days. The updated cottage was spotless when we checked in, had all the modern amenities, and was well-stocked, both inside and outside. You do get a great cross-breeze in the house. We did have a few hot/humid nights and were so thankful for the mini-split unit downstairs and the portable a/c unit for the upstairs bedrooms those nights. The kids loved exploring the property, swimming in the lake, and playing ladder ball, corn hole, and board games (all included). We had a great time taking the provided canoes to the nearby island, and loved watching all the wildlife at the lake, especially the family of loons, osprey, herons, and the local beaver. We were treated to several awesome sunrises, as well as a spectacular moonrise the last night with a nearly full strawberry moon - just gorgeous! There are plenty of stores, restaurants, and quaint towns to explore within 15 - 20 minutes of the house (check out Hallowell just past Augusta - super cute town!). We also took a few day trips to Camden (1 hour away), Freeport (just over an hour), and Acadia (~2 hours away). At the owner's suggestion, we also got ice cream at Fielder's Choice in Manchester (20 min), and it did not disappoint! Huge servings, great prices, and delicious! Lisa, the owner, was great to communicate with. She always got back to me fast if I had any questions, and provided super clear instructions for check-in and check-out (both of which were very smooth) as well as where to find and how to use everything provided. We were lucky to have the chance to meet Lisa and her husband in person, and they were both incredibly kind, friendly, accommodating, and hospitable!

Modern and Updated Cottage with a Fabulous Setting!

The photos truly don't do this cottage justice. It is absolutely beautiful - updated, well maintained, and immaculate. The owner keeps the house fully stocked with everything you could need (from a lobster pot and crackers to board games). Loved that paddleboard and kayaks were included, and the floating dock was fun to swim out to. Lots of adirondack chairs and outdoor space to enjoy, loved the firepit. We had fabulous weather and never needed the AC, with all the windows open there was a great breeze. We had every meal at the cottage - made two trips to Augusta Seafood for lobsters one night (which they'll steam for you) and fish and scallops another night. We had a tiny hiccup with getting access to the space but the owner was super responsive and lovely. I really appreciated how clean and organized everything was, particularly during the pandemic. We all agreed it was a fabulous weekend and we'd absolutely visit again.

Wedding in Vassalboro ME

Beautiful new cottage on Weber Pond was wonderful. We walked the wildlife trails and kayaked. Tranquil setting with loons, cormorants, hawks and eagles. We found couple of wild turkey feathers as well. Two of nights had a full harvest moon as well . Great get away location!

Beautiful cottage

We rented this beautiful cottage for a week vacation with our 2 young children (5y & 8y). This cottage and property met our every need. The check in process was descriptively laid out for us by Lisa ahead of time and was seamless. The cottage was immaculate upon arrival and had everything a family of 4 could need. The kids ran to the dock and each caught a 3lb large mouth bass within an hour of our arrival. The icing on the cake on our first day was spotting birds (bald eagles, herons and osprey) soaring overhead frequently. We explored the water both on the kayaks provided and with a boat we rented from a local boat rental company. The public boat launch is right down the road which made this incredibly easy. Our kids loved exploring the property and the various points of entry to the lake. The house came equipped with many games (lawn and board) which the kids loved to play. The property is incredibly private and serene. A perfect family getaway. We will most certainly be back!

Stunning Cottage by the Water

I stayed at Lisa's property over Memorial Day Weekend/Colby College graduation weekend and it was wonderful. Lisa has stocked her home/property with everything you could want for a weekend in Maine. From kayaks to fishing poles to lobster crackers she has it all. The property itself is stunning. The water is at your doorstep and there are so many different points to sit and admire the lake. The sunrises were also incredible, I'm not a morning person and I woke up multiple times for them. The house itself is the perfect size for a long weekend. It's very cozy with an open floorpan and wonderful kitchen. The house is also a quick drive to Colby and an even quicker drive to a golf course. We'll definitely stay at Lisa's place again!

I stayed at this property with my wife and two other friends. We had a fantastic time. The view from the living room/kitchen is breath taking. This place is right next to the lake. There are canoes, kayacks, and paddle boats provided with makes exploring and fishing on the lake a breeze. The fishing there is the best I have ever experienced. I caught a 1lb bass every day I fished. The largest I caught was 2lbs measuring 17 inches long. There is a dock and floating island both of which are great to fish from. The house is cozy, modern, and fully stocked with everything you would need from grilling steaks to steaming lobsters. There is high speed wifi and nice television. The manager is very helpful and always available. I am planning on returning again next summer.

Great Stay!!

We enjoyed our stay at this cottage, everything was as described - new, clean, top notch - inside and out. The grounds were much larger than we realized with great views all around. Fishing was fun, we caught many fish right from the dock. Water is clean and sandy around the dock and swimming areas. There are 2 tandem kayaks, a paddleboat, and a shed full of stuff for yard & water games. Inside the cottage was cozy but room for everyone. Both bathrooms are located on the first floor - 1 is at the bottom of the stairs and the other is attached to the 1st floor bedroom. This worked out great for the kids in the upstairs bedrooms. Lisa was great to deal with. Very informative and responsive. Having stayed at a few homeaway properties, we recommend staying at Serenity Chalet.

Pristine, Modern Cottage in Private Setting

This rental is well worth it. It has everything you need and feels so clean and pristine. Every modern amenity makes you feel like you're at an upscale hotel. The setting could not be more ideal for a quiet getaway in Maine. The fishing is spectacular! This was an amazingly relaxing vacation that melted away all stress and allowed for wonderful memories with family gathered around the table playing games with the peaceful backdrop of Webber Pond. All the windows in the home allow for breathtaking views. I highly recommend this rental!

Restful, Immaculate Cottage on a Beautiful Lake!

This was our fourth stay at this lovely cottage. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a respite in mid-Maine. The cottage is immaculate with new high-end appliances. The cottage is clean and there are upgrades everywhere. The outdoor setting could not be more spectacular. Worth every cent! Thank you.

Great stay

Beautiful place, great condition and spec. Excellent setting. Had lots of little extras such as the place for a camp fire and the canoes. Very well maintained. We came over from London and it was very smooth. Property is East facing so it glorious to wake up to the morning sun and have the moon over the lake at night.
