We had a group of women needing a relaxing weekend getaway with some shopping. We had a wonderful time here. Pictures don’t do the view justice, is so beautiful. We sat on back porch night and day and took it all in so peaceful. Host was very easy to work with, would definitely stay here again!

We love that you guys enjoyed the cabin! Jennifer was an IDEAL guest - anyone renting to her is lucky to have her.
Extremely quiet and secluded but in the most perfect way…close enough if needed to be somewhere and private enough to just hear the people you came there with…!!! Back porch sitting at its finest…hosts could not have been more accommodating and gracious in sharing their backwoods oasis…!!! We had a FABULOUS stay and could not have been more appreciative of our time in this perfect lil cabin…!!!

We are so glad you enjoyed your stay with us at BIG VIEW and hope you get to return!
We did the MS150 bike ride and this location was right next to the fair grounds which was amazing. Host gave us good directions on how to find the property. You will go down a long rocky road and it’s best if you have a SUV or truck. The property was very well stocked and even had a great igloo ice machine for drinks.Beds were very comfortable and all guest had a great time and the house is well taken care of. The view was amazing and we hung out on the patio most of the time. I would definitely recommend this property!

Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, listing accuracy
So bad we left
Worst experience I have ever had with Vrbo.House was listed as 4bdr/4bath, was a 3bed/bath.The door did not lock, the bathroom toilet broken and smelled like raw sewage. There was no hot water in the house and repair person was going to come after our stay. I then had to find a hotel last minute. They are trying to not reimburse the cleaning fee and service fee. Awful!!!!

Worst guests I've ever had. Started complaining before even entering the property. I've had many, many wonderful guests enjoy the beauty of this scenic, rural property; but I guess you can't make everyone happy. City people should just stick with hotels.

Great view
This cabin was a convenient distance from La Grange. It was easy to find with directions from owner...not GPS. The view on the back porch is beautiful. The cabin was clean. But we had trouble with the gas stove. Flames so low you could not cook. Used microwave for breakfast after the first morning. The bedrooms on the left don't have very warm water in the bathrooms. Thought we might be out of propane, but we could always get a flame. Could not find wifi instructions or make the DVD player work. I notified owner and maybe these items will be repaired. If you just want a great view, don't want a tv, don't mind lukewarm showers, and don't plan to cook, this is a great spot!

I am sorry that you weren't 100% Satisfied with your stay at the Big View Cabin. The propane tank had low pressure, causing a few problems with the water heater. I was open to communication with you, so I would have been more than happy to come out and check it for you should you requested it. Based on your texts to me, you are probably more suited for hotel life than home rental life, as issues do arise at private residences with no permanent staff on site.
