Great location, incredible hosts

Nothing negative to say about this stay in Nassau. The property is steps away from the beach, and the view from the balcony is beautiful. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was great, and the hosts are some of the best people you could hope to meet.

It's a very nice property, stunning views and just a few steps from the waters edge. It is obviously a very 'new' rental as it misses the mark on a few things. Faucet in the kitchen barely works, lacks things like paper towel, and not a nice entrance (porch boards literally bowed up where screws are missing. The surrounding property has a lot of debris and junk that could be easily cleaned in a matter of a few hours. During my 1 week stay we were without water on 3 different days and got every excuse in the book...including that someone else must have wired it wrong. Although it was difficult to find (not well marked entrance and completely overgrown in the front of the residence). Maintenance guy told us to go to Solomons fresh market. DONT'T!!!! the prices were ridiculous. $18 for a bag of grapes. Fortunately we tried the discount meat shop just a 1/2 mile or so up the road and prices were much much better. This has the potential to be a 5 star stay, but the owners need time to figure it out. Make some repairs and truly commit to competing in the market with so many options.

Cozy Beach Condo

The condo, a modest, two-story, Mediterranean-style villa, sits right on the beach in a quaint enclave called Coral Harbor. The neighborhood is. a mix of faded elegance and furious new construction of mega-mansions, but far enough away not to be a bother. The interior is a set of two large rooms, a living room and master bedroom with its fantastic bed-and-post bed, and a smaller side bedroom. The high ceilings give an airy, cheery feeling while the large sliding glass doors open up to tropical sun and emerald green sea. My friend and I spent much time out on the veranda, enjoying the sound of the surf and the caressing sea breezes. The kitchen is well stocked, ready for making home-coked meals although there's a small restaurant and bar literally next door. Down on the beach is a gazebo with folding chairs and a hammock if you want to hang out. We swam every day but be warned the water is shallow, not a heavy surf. Our property mangers, Jan and Elike, a charming, young Dutch couple, were our hosts. They picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, drove us to a Whole Foods type of market to let us buy groceries, and brought us whatever we asked for. They couldn't have been more generous and gracious with making our stay as comfortable as possible. After a week passed, we left feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. If you want a quiet get-away on a tropical island for a very reasonable price, this venue is for you.

Beautiful location. Remote beaches & canals. Loved the local dogs. Apartment well equipped & very attentive hosts. Locals were amazing helping out with a flat tyre. We will return. Had a wonderful holiday.
