Nice house right on the lake. Clean. Well equipped. If you visit with dogs, be sure to visit Fox River Park which is 5 minutes away and is one of the nicest parks I have ever visited: rolling hills where dogs can run. In winter there is a great sled hill.

House had everything we needed and was clean and organized. Appreciated the kayaks and SUPs available for guest use. My son was very excited about the trains that went by almost hourly a few blocks away and the whole family enjoyed the little ice cream shop within walking distance.

The house was as expected and an issue with grill very well handled. Suggest an upgrade from current tissue thin TP tho:-)Lake however was disappointing. Very very weedy and shallow overall. Did get some fish though! View was fine.

We loved our stay. the lake was right there and was beautiful. We sat on the porch each morning with our coffee or drink and just watch the lake so peaceful. The beach area there was quite a bit of seaweed, but we were still able to swim go tubbing and fishing right off the dock it was great. The rooms were lovely nicely decorated and comfortable The one room with three beds a little hard to have six people trying to sleep together. Wonder if they couldn’t put a partial wall up to separate one. Our host Steve replied right away with any questions we had. We did pick a very hot week temperatures were hot so the air conditioning in the house was very rewarding. We really loved our week there and would go again.
