Everything was amazing - the setting, the home, and host family! We loved our stay and enjoyed meeting Misty, CJ and family. The home was nicely done with great kitchen and large rooms. The little things supplied by the host were very thoughful and appreciated. The location was a little farther from town than we had hoped but was worth the drive. We would definitely stay here again!

Thank you so much for your great review! We would love to have you again if you're back up!
Such a relaxing and quaint stay. Amenities galore! We felt at home and thoroughly annoyed the stocked kitchen, fresh eggs, fresh snacks, and full coffee bar. We were sad our itinerary only had us there one night. Highest recommendation!
Everything about this place was way above what we were ever expecting. Misty and her family couldn't have been more pleasant to do business with and even more so once we got to meet them. Everything about the rental is top notch. Will plan on returning one of these days and hoping for another great stay.
Really enjoyed the stay at this property. The unit was very clean. It was very nice that both rooms had king size beds. We didn't get to spend a lot time at the unit due to being in Wasilla for a basketball tournament, but would definitely stay again for future tournaments.
Comfortable, cozy, and relaxing. A great place away from the crazy of the city but close enough to explore everything. Fishhook would be a great place to live.
Makes the most of the space without feeling crowded. Amazing hospitality from the host, perfect destination for anyone visiting the Wasilla/Palmer area for any reason. 10/10 would hope to stay again.

Absolutely enjoyed the space! They thought of everything. There was a coffee bar with all the goods, water bottles and juice, fresh eggs, and lots of snacks. It was also very toddler friendly for my 18 month old twins. I felt so rested after my stay.

This was the perfect place for us to stop over and rest on our way from Seward to Denali. We only stayed one night, but wish we could have stayed longer! Misty and her family were so hospitable and kind, the guest house had everything we needed and more. Everything was clean, the grounds were lovely and we enjoyed the quiet space. Also the salmon stream was really peaceful! We’d love to come back someday!
Perfect basement apartment with plenty of light, very clean, well stocked kitchen, plenty of personal touches, fresh eggs in the frig, snacks, comfy beds, quiet and cozy. All nestled in the forest of Alaska. Hosts responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

Thank you so much! I hope you can come back sometime! We would love to host you again!
What a great place! A stream was nearby to check out, and we had plenty of space in this 2 bedroom basement apartment. Perfectly quiet and secluded! We’ve stayed in a lot of VRBOs through the years and this ranks as #1 with the amenities! They thought of everything! Eggs from their chickens in the fridge, extra just in case snacks, extra just in case toiletries, selection of games and things in the closets, a fan in each room, and the best selection of coffees and teas of anywhere! This was a phenomenal location for us to arrive to after visiting the Knik Glacier (get ice cream at Big Dipper!!) to then head into Hatcher Pass the next morning! Highly recommend for that area, and worth a little extra drive if you need to get to it!
Misty and CJ went above and beyond to make sure we were all comfortable and they were available and very responsive if we had questions or needed anything. This place had way more than we expected. We were thrilled and surprised to find fresh eggs in the fridge. We had a late arrival so those eggs made for a great breakfast the next morning until we had a chance to go shopping. The nearby little Susitna Chanel was nice for skipping rocks and exploring. Great, quiet location between Palmer and Wasilla. Beds are very comfortable, washer/dryer works great and is very quiet. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone exploring the area
