Oceanfront Groundfloor Condo: Steps from the lanai/Patio to the Ocean!

The views from this OCEANFRONT unit are breathtaking, with the azure ocean and sunsets over sister islands, Lanaii and Molokai. Step off your lanai and you are only 30 feet from the ocean! Located in the Kuleana resort, enjoy a taste of old Hawaii with it’s tropical beauty and unsurpassable views. It is considered one of the most beautiful oceanfront properties on West Maui, offering quiet, luxury living in paradise. Seasonal humpback whale watching is available directly from your lanai.... and sofa and kitchen! In addition, watch the multitude of sea turtles, and on some occasions other sea life such as dolphins, manta rays, eagle rays and monk seals, and surfers right outside your door. The property 'often' has two beaches, all providing easy entry into the crystal clear ocean for snorkeling in the private snorkel cove, surfing, paddle boarding, boogie boarding (yes, the waves are good!), kayaking or simply relaxing in the water. Note that the beaches are not a guarantee as there are times that a storm can take the sand away, but will eventually return it. A coral reef exists straight out from the property, enhancing the snorkeling, surfing, kayaking, and boogie boarding activities. Fishing is also popular from the beaches. Take note that while there are often two beaches available right there at the property, the beaches cannot be guaranteed due to times where tropical storms may take the sand away, but will return the sand sometime later.....

The unit is well-decorated in tropical designs. Fans are located in the living room and bedroom. The living room has a comfy sofa with direct oceanfront views. The kitchen has a bar counter with seating for four, looking out to the ocean as well. The bedroom has a California King size bed and is equipped with an air conditioner (note that the A/C unit is only in the bedroom and we rely on the adequate Maui air flow through the rest of the condo when wanted for extra cooling. The kitchen has all the amenities of home. The bathroom has a glass block, walk in shower with room enough for two. WI-FI and cable TV are also included.
The grounds, nearly 4 acres in size, are second to none on West Maui. They contain a myriad of meticulously manicured, lavish vegetation along with paths on which to stroll the property. There is a large, heat-controlled pool at which to sun, swim, and relax. Barbeques reside at the ocean’s edge, providing an unsurpassed setting for cooking while watching the sunset. There are a multitude of on-site activities in which to enjoy. Tennis and shuffleboard courts reside on-site. An open-air lobby offers ping pong, an extensive library for your reading pleasure, and has a concierge (certain days only) for booking your luaus and sightseeing trips.

Nearby activities are abundant, and one can enjoy the island without even renting a car! The property is within walking distance of the famous Kaanapali Beach with its fantastic restaurants, shopping, and beach-going activities. There are also many local restaurants, a farmer’s market, grocery stores and a multitude of beach parks. The Maui bus stops right in front of the property and will take you all over the island.
