Awesome place. A little hard to turn around trailer but not impossible. Within 50' of the lake. Great view. It is at the end of dead end road so it is nice and quite without any cars passing by. Will for sure stay there again. Inside is really nice and clean.

Let me start by saying I had really high hopes for this place. I booked it two weeks in advance for Valentines weekend and was looking forward to spending a relaxing weekend with my wife. But, things went south in a hurry when we pulled into the driveway. The advertisement says it's a gorgeous lakeside getaway. But, there's nothing gorgeous about this place except for the view of the lake. There are no pictures of the outside of the house on the App and I can seewhy. The exterior of the house is in really rough shape and the interior isn't much better. It's got some new appliances. But, other than that it's in poor condition.Old worn out furniture, terrible beds. Dead insects and cobwebs everywhere. No, blinds or drapes. Poor HVAC system. Unless you're planning a fishing trip and don't care about the condition of the house, I would not recommend it. The host was very friendly and accommodating. She offered to move us to a different property in the area that was in much better condition. But, we didn't realize until after we got all of our luggage over there that the tap water smelled like sewer water. So if you wanted wash your hands, take a shower or brush your teeth you had to use that water. And it made the entire house smell for hours. Not a good weekend at all.

The property its self was not bad. Potential to be a hidden gem! Unfortunately it’s not well maintained, has an active ant infestation and leaks with any rain. The floor is warped and has soft spots, the air conditioning upstairs was not working correctly, leaving the majority of the sleeping arrangements uncomfortable. The only tv’s were in the main living area with a broken couch and one chair and a tiny tv in the upstairs bathroom. The bedroom down stairs was also experiencing air conditioning concerns with the window unit freezing up. Luckily it was not terribly hot this stay. The house felt unkept and patched together. We are not boujee people and do not expect much- however, for the higher than average price , we did expect more. There was no hair dryer and no dish soap and no coffee! - which is usually standard. I have never been to one with out those simple items. The bugs in the light fixture were a topic of discussion and the spiderwebs all over left the house feeling more spoken than homey. I do not think anyone had been in that house for several weeks at best guess. The house was again a potential gem, loved the older style and cool setting but it is over priced for a poorly maintained and badly managed property. The view from the front is very pretty but it would not be easy to get down to the lake front unless you are young and able bodied. We left some scrambled eggs on a platter beside the stove and returned to thousands of ants!
