My husband and I stayed with our three adult children and their partners for a week. We had a wonderful time!The property is exquisite!There was plenty of room for everyone to gather together and room enough for everyone to have their own space. The grounds, the pool and the hot tub are so beautiful and relaxing. The hosts were very responsive, even though they were several time zones away.

Wonderful location and comfortable home

5 couples comfortably spent an early November weekend that was snowy and cold. The house was wonderful, fireplace and hot tub soothed our souls. Nice place and we recommend.

Great stay

This house was perfect for our family vacation. Lots of room to spread out inside and out. The pool and hot tub were great. Close enough to town for a long walk. We had a wonderful time and would definitely rent again.

Stunning home in Woodstock!

We loved our stay at this beautiful home in Woodstock. The house was even better than the pictures: it was spacious, clean, beautiful, and had all the amenities you could ask for. The locations was perfect- nicely secluded but extremely convenient. The owners were very helpful the whole time and were responsive every time we reached out.

I would simply echo the comments of other reviewers. The house was perfect for our family celebration of 7 people. Beautiful property, spacious with every amenity you could want with pool; hot tub; fire pit BBQ grill; and fully equipped kitchen. Maybe the highlight was the screened-in porch which overlooked the rear property. The property is totally private; not as sound anywhere except the birds and our grandchildren having the time of their life in the pool and hot tub! A bonus for us was the separate cottage where our adult son could retreat to his own space when he wanted to getaway or sleep in.Communication with Lynn was exceptional. Prompt responses to all of our questions with easy self-check-in. She was a pleasure to work with. As for activities, we took a couple of walks in the area and took advantage of the immediate neighborhood where we could walk out the door and take walks. We also would recommend driving to Hyde Park (45 min drive) and visiting the FDR Presidential Museum.

Great Property for Large Group

We had a wonderful stay! We had 11 people and the house was very accommodating for a group of that size. Everything was working properly and the check in and check out process was very easy. I highly recommend this house!

We needed abase of operations for a Woodstock wedding. This was the perfect property with plenty of room and privacy for all. We came well prepared but the property was well equipped with everything a family would need. The location was excellent for our purposes and we loved having coffee with the local deer grazing about. Weather and time did not allow for swims or the hot tub but the settings on these amenities are amazing. Beds are super comfy as well.

Fantastic Place

The property is even nicer than the photographs. Quiet, secluded, surrounded by trees but views of the mountains. The house is spacious and comfortable. The pool was great. You will enjoy this house

We were a group of seven friends and we all loved this house and location. As a VRBO owner myself, I was very appreciative of the host's availability and helpfulness. We loved the sauna, the pool looked great but was closed due to the time of year. The Kitchen was well stocked with appliances, dishes, etc. The house looked great on the website and was even better in person. Can not over recommend this house. Enjoy, we did and now can't wait to come back next year.

Really great vaca with adult children!

Stayed at this lovely property for about a week with our three adult children, their spouses and their infant children. Awesome place! Owner communication was excellent and small issue (failed circuit breaker) was settled quickly and efficiently. We had a great time in the pool, hot tub, playing games at night at the large dining room table, and enjoyed local hikes and yours!

great house and attentive owners

we stayed for 8 days. guests included a couple in our 70's, 4 adult children and 3 grandchildren, ages 16 months, 4 yrs and 8 yrs. We loved the house and pool and had a great time. Owners were extremely helpful and attentive. House is wonderfully supplied with kitchen utensils, linens and towels. A wonderful stay overall.

Long weekend and full house

We absolutely loved this home. There was enough space inside to host 2 families with young kids and plenty of space to use outdoors. Locations was incredibly convenient, not only a short walk to the main street but also reasonable distance to winter attractions. Nothing can beat waking up to amazing views from every window.

A meticulously organized, spacious home with a great host

Not only was the property beautiful and spacious, the house was organized and stocked like no other home we’ve rented. Everything made sense and we wanted for nothing. Lynn was an amazing host; she communicated clearly and timely throughout our stay and made us feel at home.

Great family vacation!

This was the perfect house for our three-generation group of parents, step-parents, adult children,, siblings, spouses, partners, grandchildren/niece/nephew! The house was nicely laid out and the small cottage came in very handy. The kitchen was fairly well-equipped and we made many of our meals there and on the grill. We loved the screened in porch and spent a good amount of time there. The town and surrounding are are great!

Most awesome house

This property stood out to us for its openness, light, heated pool and hot tub, and it’s ability to accommodate a large group. We loved staying here. The pool was truly heated, the hot tub excellent, the fire pit was perfect. There are so many spaces in the house that I was able to do a little work one day upstairs and felt a million miles away. We are fans and hope to stay again.
