We spent a few relaxing days at Paul’s property everything was as described and he was very easy to communicate with. Very satisfied with the property and had modern and efficient WiFi. Would recommend and would stay again!

This is the fifth year we have stayed in Freeberg Cabin. It is clean, cozy, beautifully decorated and across the street from Lake Carlos (which is nice when the kiddos are little). There are plenty of water toys and a boat lift for your boat. The hosts also leave little touches for their guests. We have already rebooked for next year! Can’t wait to go back!

Loved the place! Really comfortable, clean, with everything you need. Loved the hot tub especially!!! Owner was very quick to respond to questions. Lots of gnats but no mosquitoes.

Great place to stay

Love this place! Great location, close enough to Alexandria in case you need something, but far enough out that it was nice and quiet. The lake was clear and warm. We were already planning our trip for next year

Labor Day weekend

Awesome place in a great location. Lake was crowded but it was a holiday weekend. Nice yard and decks for an enjoyable time outside. Alot of activities in the area. Would definitely return again.

A delightful cabin on a beautiful lake in northern Minnesota. Very comfortable and easy to get to the wedding venue, Alexandria shopping! Weather turned cold so we didn’t use the water toys that were available. Had a very busy schedule so this was very convenient. Comfortable beds, very quiet, enjoyed it and will come again if we’re in the area!!

Love Lake Life

We have been visiting Alexandria for many years and this was our first time renting a VRBO. It is difficult to find an affordable rental that clicks all of our boxes - 3 bedrooms, near the lake with a dock, and one that allows our dog to travel with us - and the Lake Carlos Cabin had everything we were looking for. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and the beds were comfortable. We only wished it was a waterfront cabin.

Nice Little Cabin

Paul was extremely responsive and very helpful prior to check-in. Don't expect anything fancy, however this cabin was great for a couples relaxing getaway. We really enjoyed the backyard amenities and all of the indoor games. The cabin could use a deep clean but nothing unbearable.
