Our chalet is tucked away in a quiet mountain neighborhood overlooking beautiful Lake Cuyamaca, offering a true escape just an hour east of San Diego. We are located only 15 minutes from the historic town of Julian, famous for its apple pies, charming shops, and its status as a certified Dark Sky Community.

The cabin is tucked away in a quiet mountain neighborhood next to Lake Cuyamaca, only 15 minutes outside of Julian, famous for their apple pies and certified Dark Sky Community.

A vehicle is essential for exploring the area. The property features a private driveway . For your convenience, an EV charging port is available; please remember to bring your own charging cable.


Pet-friendly: We're dog lovers ourselves with two furry children of our own! Two dogs welcome with a $150 pet fee. We ask that you treat our home with care: no dogs on furniture unless you use one of the provided dog blankets, no unattended dogs unless crated, and please clean up thoroughly before checkout including pet hair and dog waste. Dogs are not allowed to use the deck as a bathroom.

Family-Friendly: Little ones are welcome! We provide two pack 'n plays, two high chairs, a built in baby gate for the stairs, children's dinnerware, and board games - so you can pack light and arrive ready to relax.

Seasonal Decor: Visiting during the holidays? The cabin is fully decorated from late November through mid-January for a cozy, festive stay.

Property Layout: The main entrance is accessible via steep stairs or a gradual pathway with a few steps. This is a multi-level log cabin in the woods with stairs and sloped walkways from the parking area. Ground level includes the game room, laundry room, and half bath.

Need More Space? Our sister property, Wild Moon Ranch, is just a 5 minute drive down the road - perfect for larger groups needing two homes close by. Wild Moon Ranch also includes a regulation sized pickleball court if you want to book a group pickleball trip!
