Dunes Rest cabin was a perfect base camp for our Great Sand Dunes adventure. The loft play area was great for the kids and the kitchen was surprisingly well provisioned with gadgets and cooking basics. The star viewing from the deck at night was stunning. I would definitely stay here again!

This place is truly a home away from home. The beds are super comfortable, the stars at night are amazing, you can see the Great Sand Dunes from the back deck. One of the best places we have stayed as a family.

The house was beautiful, clean, with amazing views! Sometimes houses don't appear as they do in the photos but this house was lovely and perfect for our needs. The only suggestion I would make is if you plan to cook, bring your own pan. All is the pans were non stick and terribly scratched (which leaks out toxins in the food you are cooking).

Great Stay at Dines Rest

Location was perfect for our quick family adventure of the area. Beautiful view of the Dunes and the house had everything our family needed. Close to the park and Zapata Falls. Highly recommend and hope to be back soon.

Beautiful cabin! Great access to Great Sand Dunes National Park. Lots of great hiking nearby! Million dollar view off the back deck! Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect spot!!!

Dune’s Rest was a perfect place to enjoy Great Sand Dunes NP. It has a gorgeous view of the dunes tucked up against the mountains, and every amenity. Perfect place for families with kids! It couldn’t have been better!

Perfect for Getaway to the Dunes

We stayed for three nights in late May. House was clean and comfy with an awesome view of the Dunes. If you want to be close to the Great Sand Dunes National Park and not camp, the Dunes Rest is a great option.

Lovely, well maintained dune with amazing dune views! We enjoyed the peace and quiet. Kitchen is well stocked with cooking pots and pans and utensils. We cooked a full Thanksgiving meal and enjoyed the fire!

Perfect location and so cute!

This was the perfect base for our time at the great sand dunes and zapata falls. We didn’t have much time so being right there was so helpful. And the property is adorable and well equipped. Highly recommend!
