Built over 118 years ago, this historic farmhouse is full of character and quirks but has all of the modern amenities you could need. With spacious living and bedrooms, it's perfect for large families or group trips but cozy enough for a couples getaway.
The 1905 House has four bedrooms (2 - King, 2 - Queen) and two bathrooms, one the second floor (with a tub) and one on the main floor. On the main floor you’ll also find a spacious living room with a 55” TV, dining room that seats 8 and a cozy office. Off of the fully equipped kitchen you’ll have access to a washer and dryer. During the summer and fall months (and spring if you’re lucky) relax in one of our rockers on the front porch.
With the original woodwork, large windows that fill the room with natural light and personal touches, we hope you’ll find this space to be a cozy home away from home.

This was the perfect place for our big group. House was big, had plenty of room, and very clean. The host was awesome and super fast with responses. We had the chance for some bad weather and tornadoes one night we were staying there and the host responded to my questions very fast and gave me all the information we needed to make sure we could get to shelter. Would definitely book again next year.
This property was perfect for our family over Thanksgiving week. The home is spacious and we were impressed with the decor. We were pleasantly surpised by the well stocked kitchen that allowed us to prepare a traditional Thanksgiving meal. Parking is easy and the location was perfect. Watching the snow fall through the large windows was enjoyable. Thank you!

We didn’t actually stay The host cancelled on us after we booked saying they didn’t have anyone to clean the property before we arrived because of the holidays. We were going to a family funeral, so the booking was last minute, since the funeral was scheduled quickly.
This was an amazing and fun place to stay easy access to the college and walking distance to downtown entertainment and food. Extremely clean and very easy to access would definitely book again!!
This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this property and couldn’t be more pleased. The house is in a great location an and the place is immaculate and well kept up. Highly recommend this place.
Everyone thought the house was beautiful. The location was perfect and within walking distance to the wedding venue. The amenities were very helpful. My family is quite familiar with older two story homes so they were prepared for the upstairs to be a bit warm. (The fans in each room was very helpful)Thank you very much for sharing your home with my family

The Farmhouse is lovely and our family had the perfect spot to return to and rest each evening and to gather for breakfast. Communication with the host was easy as well as parking. Location is close to the town square and University - both within walking distance. We would stay here again.
The house was very clean and met our needs
in every way.
It was easy to find and close to the school.
Quiet at night and we all slept well.
The kitchen was well equipped.
We will stay again.
Very nice property and well kept for the age of the house.
Impressed with the condition of the property. Easy to find. Parking was fine. Easy walking distance to a nice restaurant. The upstairs can get a little warm during the night as no AC vents are ran upstairs. I would stay on property again. Very clean.

I am from this area but currently live elsewhere. We were back for my mom’s memorial service and wanted to stay in a place where we could have peace and quiet. This home fit perfectly for my family and our needs.
The home had all the modern conveniences but kept its charm. The rooms were very spacious so we didn’t feel like we were on top of each other. The only issue we had were the ants in the kitchen which were around the sink and microwave. This was only a small issue that resolved itself if you kept your dishes cleaned up right away. It was pretty hot outside while we were here and the home air conditioning worked really well. Each room had its own tower fan to move the air which worked great as well.
I would highly recommend this VRBO
It was a pretty OLD house that was nicely kept up. My only compliant was all the rooms did not have enough light, it was very dark in the bedrooms. They could use some more counterspace in the bedrooms...only one small bedside table in each room, no place to put your electronics or makeup, wallet, charges, etc...like a sofa table....the bedrooms were just a bed and one bedside table.I could not find a broom either. This could easily be remedied by the owners.
