Vrbo with History

I enjoyed my stay. I really found the history of the location as a sugar plantation interesting.

Peaceful Place within Natural Beauty

This cottage was just lovely all around. Beauty inside and out. The setting, within what I can only describe as botanical gardens, and then the beauty of the wood work, furniture, and of course the stone work(the outdoor bathroom was so cool). Just all around charming place to relax.

Banyan House

We really enjoyed our stay at Banyan House. The grounds are beautiful, a perfect little place carved out of the rain forest. Peaceful and serene with plants and flowers everywhere. It’s a pleasant walk to the two beaches. We enjoyed the open air arrangement of Banayan House. Our hosts were very helpful and accommodating. It was fun to hear about the history of the house and property from Uta. I would highly recommend Balenbouche Estate to others. Thanks for a great stay!

Mother-Daughters getaway

Our stay at Balenbouche was exceptional and incredibly relaxing. While the accommodations are a bit older, the personal touches from our host, Uta, truly made the experience unforgettable. We enjoyed fresh fruit from her property, delicious freshly baked bread, and French-pressed coffee for breakfast at her main house. Uta also offered yoga classes and made our stay even more special by washing our beach towels and letting us shower after check-out so we could enjoy another beach day before our flight. The property itself is a peaceful retreat, nestled in a rural area away from the main tourist hubs. Although it’s a bit off the beaten path, we quickly got the hang of the roads and discovered some stunning beaches, especially at nearby resorts (all St. Lucia beaches are public, so you don’t need to be a resort guest to access them). The lush, tranquil surroundings, coupled with a short trail to the on-site beach, made us feel like we were on our own private island.Overall, our stay was incredibly uncomplicated and laid-back, and we couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful and personal experience. Highly recommend!
