Planned a short trip to Greek Peak Adventure Park down the road and found this nearby cozy & charming cabin to stay the night! Our short stay was lovely. The comfy beds were a highlight, as well as the sauna! Hosts were also very communicative and welcoming!

We loved our stay at the cabin. It was everything we hoped for, for our family winter getaway- warm and cozy, but full of modern amenities. Owners were so communicative and accommodating to our needs. Great location and proximity to all the activities at Greek Peak. Will stay here again in the future.

This was the most idyllic getaway! The cabin is picturesque and cozy. Kitchen is well stocked and beds are super comfortable. Easily accessible to Greek Peak resort - we were able to go home for lunch on ski days and be right back on the mountain! Loved the other amenities as well - snow tubing and the indoor water park were so fun. Caryn and her son were extremely helpful and communicative! We can’t wait to go back!

Amazing

We stayed for 2 nights to ski enroute to bringing our son back to Syracuse University. We didn’t want to leave. The home is well stocked, the beds are so comfortable, and the overall coziness is great. After a long day of skiing, the sauna was fantastic. Honestly, having been to numerals vrbos, this is on the top of my list. Many thanks to our hosts!

Cozy cottage

The property and owners were top notch. It was clean and fully stocked. There was nothing we needed once we were settled. The sauna was an added bonus. The owner, Caryn, and her son were available and helpful throughout the process. The surrounding area is lovely. We were in town for a baseball tournament for my oldest son. The Greek Peak resort and mountain coaster was minutes away. I would recommend this place highly. We cannot wait to come back in the winter to ski.

Base Cabin to See Eclipse

My wife and I stayed at this quaint cabin so we could view the Eclipse in the Path of Totality in Syracuse about an hour north. We were very pleased with the ease in check-in. The cabin was very clean and well appointed. It has a pellet stove and indoor dry sauna. We didn’t use either. There is a large flatscreen tv in the living room. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to prepare a gourmet meal. There was even a waffle iron!! There were also 4 complimentary cans of beer from the owner’s son’s brewery. There was also a stackable washer dryer. Upstairs was probably one of the most comfortable queen size bed I’ve ever slept in! This 1800’s cabin is very deceiving by how small it looks on the outside and how much room is on the inside. This is the perfect cabin for a group of friends on a ski weekend. It is a 1 minute drive to Greek Peak ski resort just down the street. Grocery stores approximately 20 minutes away in Cortland. We really enjoyed our stay at this quaint rustic cabin!!!

Response from VrboOwner on 16 Apr 2024
Thanks for all your kind words, John. When we bought this cabin we were determined to make the sleeping accommodations as comfortable as those we have at home. That is one thing that we really value when we are away - a comfortable bed!! We also wanted to make the kitchen a home away from home - but more special - since it is vacation after all, so we stocked it with everything from herbs and spices to waffle irons and Instantpots. We look forward to hosting you again. This area is wonderful during all seasons! Please note that there was a problem with the VRBO website when I tried to write the rating and review for you. I gave you five stars in all categories but the category of communication did not register my response. Thank you for being an excellent guest, in fact one of my best guests. I am happy to share with any future host that you are the best!!!
