The cottage was very clean. We love the fact that it was pet friendly. The communication with the host was spot on. When we arrived, it was easy to check in. We got to the cottage and it was nice and cool and clean. We will definitely be back.
The cottage was clean, convenient to beach access , golf rental was in walking distance of pickup and drop off, convenient to places to eat and have a few drinks as well as being pet friendly.
It was very clean! The host and everyone was very responsive with any questions I had! The internet kept dragging but it also did that on my phone. So I don’t fault the host or property. I wish there was a cabin that was more accessible with a small ramp over the doors but that is only because I know other special needs families who would love to stay there but without a ramp and a bigger bathroom they couldn’t. Just a thought and nothing to do with our stay! My daughter is somewhat mobile and she did fine! Also love that they are dog friendly!! Thank you Bobbi and all your staff!!
Had a nice time in Port A at the cottages. The cabins are cozy but outdated. The interior needs painted and the living room furniture was ancient and very uncomfortable when you sat on one end of the couch it felt like I was sitting on the floor. That’s ok because the tv is streaming or suppose to be the way to watch but it spent 80% of the time buffering due to a weak slow WiFi signal. We asked for help and while the owners were responsive, and eventually we could watch evening tv after a fun day on beach. The initial response was well that’s how the WiFi is on the island- now I have a hard time believing that because it was so poor, no one and I mean no one would be able to operate in the modern world if it was like that everywhere. Perhaps an upgraded plan would suit the property better? Anyway, it’s a cute cozy outdated place in a great location.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. I wanted to clarify a few points. Regarding the wifi, the property has a 1 GB fiber internet connection. Being a small town with 5,000 residents, we can run into bandwidth issues when 200,000 people are on the island on a summer weekend. Both Verizon and Charter are meeting with the City Council to see what they can do to expand bandwidth.
As for the rest, we do our best to offer clean, comfortable cottages in a great location at the lowest price available on the island. If you want all of the bells and whistles, you have many options that are 3-5 times the cost we offer.
We wish you would have reached out during your stay regarding these issues. The wifi was working properly, but we certainly could have assisted you with any connection problems. As the listing states, we provide basic cookware and kitchenware. Had you needed anything specific, we would have been happy to try and provide it. Unfortunately, we can't address issues that aren't communicated to us.
Clean and close to everything. The AC was terrible. Window units can not keep up with the space. The kitchen was boiling everytime we cooked. Owners need to invest in better AC units. Other than that, was ok.

We're glad you enjoyed your stay. Unfortunately, you didn't mention the A/C unit during your stay or we would have been happy to check on it. We keep a supply or A/C units on site and could have replaced it or adjusted it, if necessary. In the future, please remember that hosts are here to assist you.
