Literally 5 Minutes to Everything.

We enjoyed our stay at Anchored Away. It was exactly as the listing and photos showed. Check in went smoothly. The place was clean. I was amazed how it felt off the beaten path but also it only took five minutes to get to the beach, restaurants, and all the other fun things at Holden Beach. Overall, a very pleasant stay!

To clarify for future guests, our listing does NOT advertise Wi-Fi, so we understand that may not have met your expectations if internet access was important to you. Regarding the property, the cottage is located in a quiet, wooded setting, exactly as described in our listing. We do maintain the area around the home and porch for our guests' enjoyment, while the surrounding natural landscape is intentionally left to preserve the peaceful, rustic atmosphere that many visitors appreciate. Very cute place. Small, but worked well for 2 people. Spacious bathroom. Plenty of parking that was easily accessible. Host was very helpful and responded promptly. Location was great. Very quiet.
