Gorgeous Full Basement With Everything You Need

Hi Cindy, I'm so sorry about the odor in the bathroom. It has been a bit of a problem lately, but I think we have solved the problem. We have a tank under the bathroom sink that pumps into the sewer line. Our trusty plumber told us about a product that our cleaners dump into that tank each time they clean, and it has taken care of the problem. The stairs are what they are. We do have a large sign posted at the top of the stairs to remind people that the steps are a bit steep, and mention the steep stairs in our listing information. Thankfully you don't have to use those stairs if you don't want to, because we have 2 doors leading to the outside and so guests can simply choose to use the other door. (:

Hello Lauri, we do clearly list in our booking that our place only has a kitchenette. No stove or oven. We not only list all of these things that you complained about, but the pictures clearly show that there is no stove or oven and shows the small refrigerator. As well as listing that there is no washing machine or dryer. It seems unfair to rate us poorly because of these things when they are clearly explained. Even the low ceilings and steep stairs are clearly explained in our listing. With these things in mind we have priced our place accordingly. Our sheets are washed with laundry soap and bleach after every stay so this seems strange to say that the sheets smelled. So sorry that you found our couch uncomfortable, but it is brand new. Nice and clean and in good shape. Perhaps you should read the listing details and look at the pictures before you book a place.

So sorry that the coffee maker wasn't working properly. The only way we know about problems like this is when we hear from our guests. I have ordered a new one. We do not allow smoking on the front porch for reasons such as this. We could have helped out if you would have notified us. We could have reminded the upstairs guests of our rules, and I'm sure the problem could have been resolved. We do have some nice heaters in each bedroom and a larger fireplace heater in the great room that when used heat the entire basement quite nicely. Maybe you didn't notice them. It's always a good idea to contact us hosts when you have concerns. We love to help out our guests! Thanks for staying at our place! (:
